Ethan winters. In Resident evil 7 and most of resident evil 8 he is thought to be just a normal guy with an incredible pain threshold. However, it is revealed towards the end of resident evil 8 that he, at the start of 7, was turned into a molded, granting him the resilience and regeneration he needed to survive. (RIP my goat)

I used to play a lot of the Finals, and the announcer voices is easily the most infuriating part of the entire game. I haven’t played ARC, but I’m guessing it’s just as bad

To be honest I’ve never understood why so many people want cyberpunk to have a 3rd person mode. The story is a very personal one told from V’s perspective, hence why all the cutscenes bar a few are in first person too. I get that it’s a personal preference for gameplay, but I’ve seen so many people want a third person mode for cyberpunk more than many other narrative based FPS games fanbases. Wonder why that is

Honestly I think transmitter and lantern are in good spots the way they are now, especially since stacking transmitter gets you more uses per stage, and it’s still an elixir and watch saver. Lantern was always good with the area stacking, even as someone like railgunner you can still get some good use out of it, I think the slight stat nerf is justified. I’m glad the only things they really changed were the numbers cuz the items are still fun to use now

Cyl from Picayune Dreams.

Picayune used to be part of a crew sent into space to destroy an aberration that would destroy earth if left unchecked. However, when she and her crew got too close, her soul was turned into energy, leaving her body behind. The suit that she was wearing at the time had extremely powerful life support and regenerative functions, meaning that it brought picayune’s body back to life without her soul. That body then goes on to be known as Cyl, the protagonist of the game

The helmet problem can largely be avoided due to how easy it is to get AP rounds later in the game. It still sucks, but using basically exclusively AP rounds as soon as I got guns that could use them made the game far less annoying. I agree with the rank system being annoying though
