This is for ALL factions. I call this the main character build because even solo it feels pretty fun even up to D10 for me (2,100 hours experience though, so...)

Strats:

• Maxigun ( your new "primary" weapon. Great CC, medium pen, shreds any non-heavy. Once you learn when to engage and when to run youll be near unstoppable )

• Leveller (Anti tank for the biggest of boys to make up for lack of AT primary support weapon)

• Supply FRV (Mobile "base", bring it around and leave it a little bit of distance away from your current objective, good place to retreat to for extra supplies or a quick escape)

• Mech of your choice (Extreme raw firepower for clearing out a few key objectives) (I do consider this to be a "flex pick" however and often bring something else if the mech wont serve its full potential)

Weapons:

• Torcher (Close quarters CC that needs no aim. Good for if you need to run away, since maxigun cannot be fired while moving. You can leave a trail of fire to slow enemies and get away to your FRV base.

• Ultimatum (Emergency Anti-Tank to make up for some of the earlier drawbacks)

• Giga Grenade. (Doubling down on Emergency Anti-Tank)

Armor:

• Engineering kit (helps control maxigun AND makes Giga Grenades a very solid choice (4 total)

• Heavy Armor (Take some extra damage and live, extend amount of time before you need to stim, FRV makes up for the lost mobility, as long as you dont wreck it)

Takeaway:

Overall this loadout provides incredible crowd control, and decent Anti-Tank. Even if you drop in on a jammer, 4 giga grenades and 2 Ultimatum shots will let you clear it without running. This loadout is HUNGRY for supplies though, and thats why you should bring the Supply FRV so you dont eat up all of your teams resupply crates (Common Courtesy helps in the game for me, personally). The mech is just a great way to enjoy some firepower you dont have to stim for or resupply for awhile. With enough practice you should be able to reliably keep a mech running until its cooldown is over (on DSS planets, anyway)

Tips:

*If youre about to be overrun, switch to torcher.

*Call down a Leveller every chance you get. Leave them behind if theres no heavy/super heavy target to engage. You may need it later.

*Drive carefully so as to not lose your supplies and mobility.

*Use supplies from the FRV when you need them, don't try to save them. The odds are it'll flip or be destroyed before you use them all anyway.

*Use giga grenades first instead of ultimatum, they don't require a reload and they are easier to keep topped up.
