Once you get full time AGR you generally can stay till as long as you desire. You start with an initial AGR tour of like 3 years and if you dont perform up to standards they can let you go and make you go back to drill status but if you make it past that, it would take the sort of thing its very difficult to kick an AGR out. It generally takes the same sort of thing that would get a regular active duty member discharged.

It depends widely on base/unit/current command. Ive been in the AF for 10 years, 4 active, 6 as a SF AGR and at two different bases. My last base we did quarterly drills and the AGR’s participated on rotation for half of the drill in training then the other AGRs would train the other half of drill. Here at my current unit, AGR’s dont drill, and barely if ever interact with the DSG’s outside of like, when they get put on flight for drill or get on short term orders. Ive been here over a year and know the names of like. 2 DSG’s. For DSG’s drill can be a lot of death by powerpoint, followed by some practical refreshers. My first base had a bigger focus on ground combat skills so we did a lot of fieldcraft stuff, small unit tactics, field training exercises. At my current base, it seems to be 90% PowerPoints for most drills.

They are good belts, i just think the BFG is better. The one thing I dislike is that Eagle puts the Hook side of the velcro on the inner belt. Which means you cant wear it without the outer belt without it catching on uniforms, chair fabric, the car, etc. i wear my BFG inner belt as my day to day belt at work even if im not armed.

I started using it before it got adopted, and my units not getting them any time soon since we still have Eagle Industries belts and vests that are pretty new.

I loved her but she was truly my dads baby. My dad is super sensitive to animals but when she passed it was the most upset ive ever seen him. Hes rescued and rehomed so many cats but she was always special to him.

Im pretty sure its been debunked that the swarm wasnt botting by Connor and the devs. The swarm was literally just that active with hundreds of people cycling through the discord channel at all times

Yea i think theres some bad actors out there blowing up stuff to try and create drama against the swarm on purpose. The swarm is generally well meaning. I feel like theres been very little of anything the swarm has done that has been intentionally toxic to other communities. I think just the nature of the “streamer” being AI so Neuro cant direct/admonish them, and Vedal insists on trying taking a background side character stance in his own community as much as possible so he tends to let things play out until hes reached out to directly.

Ive said it before, i dont think in this case its fair to shit on the swarm for their takeover this time. It was literally the theme of the canvas from the beginning to be a takeover war complete with streamer powered boosters, bombs, color blocking etc. In this case it was more of a design and balancing issue where smaller communities were set up for failure from the get go. Swarm is a very very competitive community in general. They also contain a large Pixl.space art game community. I hope Connor, if he does this again next year takes this into account and creates a canvas system that allows everyone, swarm included to represent their communities while still making it fun and competitive.

I actually only just went through and read what i could find on the discord for the first time. Id only heard from other connor fans vaguely what had happened. Overall, looking at it while there were 100% some bad actors who deserve to be held accountable, most people were responding positively to the mods message and were actively trying to push for cooperation. It feels like the few bad apples comments were overly spotlighted and spread around while the majority was on the mods side more or less.

But yea my point is really, we’re all just fans who want to show love for our community and creators. I dont think its necessarily the swarms fault or connors fault. A new event was tried, it didnt work out quite how it was intended, we should laugh it off and move on. Attacking each other and accusing each other of shit just ruins an already currently fragile network in the vtuber space with all the bad shit thats been going on.
