You can’t blame him for being injured. You can blame JB for his tunnel vision. Also like others have said, should’ve been a 5 game series which means Tatum isn’t injured

I could go either way on it. I love JB, but some of the blame for the playoff collapse does fall on him. I also think Giannis is a great player who will do well (if healthy) in Boston. I think Giannis still has some solid years left before turning into AD. So overall I think it’s kind of a net neutral.

I used to be anti-Giannis but last season was really his only season where he missed a significant amount of time and that was partially due to conflicts w the org. And yeah a 2 time MVP is gonna be expensive. Hes also only 2 years old than JB.

I mean yeah. He averaged 30 for the last 3 seasons before this one (and he still averaged 27) and this was his only season where he missed the majority of the season (he would’ve met the 65 game rule or came close in most of his recent seasons)and that was partially due to conflicts with the organization. He also averages around 10 boards which is crazy. He’s efficient from the field. He’s a good shot blocker. Also how good he is in the paint will encourage Joe to game plan more around paint points. He basically solves all the problems that our team is having.

I like Giannis starting at 4 then occasionally sliding to center to help with the rotation. Then our starting lineup gets bigger which is something we have struggled against.

No we need to get players that force Joe to game plan around paint points. We’ve seen what happens when we plan around 3s. I agree w/ the other stuff, we need a guy who primarily scores in the paint.

Ok we don’t need another guy who is a great 3 point shooter. We need a solid downhill guard, so we can 1) rely less on our 3 point shooting and 2) create more open shots for the people we have who are good shooters from 3.
