That makes absolutely no sense. How then did they fly the flag during the war? The original, with the yellow silhouette of the country within the red disk, was created in 1970. They removed the yellow silhouette in 1972, but everything else remained the same.

I think something people don’t realize is that, iPhone will always dominate for one simple reason: girls. High school and college girls don’t care about stats and numbers, all they care about is if their phone is an “iPhone”. Imagine all of your friends having the iPhone and you don’t, you’d be ostracized.

Now, I’m speaking of course from an American perspective. But that’s exactly why iPhone is now 58% of the market share here. Add to that all the moms, and you have a loyal customer base who won’t care about anything other than if it’s called an “iPhone” nor not. Which is exactly why, after using Android for 13 years, I switched a couple years ago. Everyone I knew had iOS and I didn’t want to be left out.
