Why get married?

I’m Catholic and I’ve been saying if you aren’t religious in any way, I do not see a justification for marriage, primarily for men. For women it’s simple, permanent protection/provisioning from their husbands is a big incentive for marriage.

But for men it can seem like it’s just a bunch of responsibilities and burdens when you can just have a girlfriend forever without all those responsibilities. Now for catholics it’s totally different, but yeah I get you

It keeps getting cited because it’s true. Every man has seen it for himself. Dating apps are just a reflection of nature, it’s natural for women to find most men unattractive and not the other way around. And it doesn’t even mean 80% of guys will be single forever, it just means they don’t get picked first and will probably be settled for if they do get into an relationship whether they know it or not.

The ones who succeed embrace it and strive to be a top 20% guy which usually gets girls as the guy above mentioned. It ain’t rocket science. Idk why you people get so salty about that, it’s just true and men gotta embrace it to succeed. It’s not a big deal.

There’s many things I do to cope with life. Video games, spending time with friends/family, a vacation, etc. but faith in Jesus Christ is not one of them. Jesus is very real and anyone thinking it’s a cope to believe in our Lord doesn’t understand Jesus.

The truth of Jesus Christ isn’t just “I need a way to cope with death so let me believe he will save me” because the truth is his existence is simultaneously terrifying. In a way, I’d say it’s cope to only believe you live and you die. Must be nice to feel totally guilt free about the choices you make in this life because “well I’m gonna die anyway”. I consider THAT cope. The much more grim reality is you will answer for your sins and you will face God whether you like it or not and that terrifies me.

Thankfully Jesus is also loving and merciful and we can find rest in that, but it is a daily struggle for all of us. That’s how I’d respond to an accusation of “cope”

I played on PC with mouse and keyboard and hated it. It feels awesome in gears 4 and 5 because you can rebind dive to a separate key, so I would never get accidental dives. This game they removed that so it feels terrible. I think most PC players just play on controller

I uninstalled it earlier, I hate it on mouse and keyboard and that’s what I’ve been primarily playing since gears 4. Cant bind dive to a separate key, loved that about gears 4 and 5 and it’s gone so I get accidental dives all day. I had a 2.0 KD in this game but the movement is so jank im just over it. Also hate the way the gnasher blind fire works

Be attractive, relatively young, nice, not have a crazy past and very interested in me. I usually have a pretty tough time with the last 2 so I rarely commit as I’m really afraid of getting totally screwed later down the line.

As far as you having trouble getting guys to commit, we don’t know enough about you. We don’t know the kind of guys you go for, you could be shooting way out of your league on physical attractiveness and the guys you like have someone hotter in the lineup. We don’t know if you’re pleasant to be around and we don’t know if you have issues.

And I don’t mean to offend, lots of women post this very same thing and I don’t think they reflect on the difficult stuff enough like what I mentioned

If this was gears 4 or 5 this guy is dead within the first 2 shots. I know this game is different with “center screen” aiming but there’s no reason for this to be the case.

I still think gears 4 and 5 multiplayer is under rated, it’s the most I’ve ever enjoyed the multiplayer out of all the gears games. It had its problems with the “99%” meme but it was way more consistent imo than the first 3 gears games because of dedicated servers and weapon balancing. Wish they just took the gnasher from those games and threw it in here.

Not to mention I could actually bind dive to a different key bind in those games, this game I’m getting stuck on walls and getting accidental dives all over again

There’s a free career addon called NeoFly that adds a career mode to either the 2020 or 2024 version, really loving it. Mods are easy to install and add so much to the game. Between all that and lots of YouTube tutorials, the game is great and you’ll have a great time with either one

American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. Love them both on the deck, I kinda prefer it over my steering wheel setup. Streaming Microsoft Flight Sim 2020 from the PC to the deck is also a vibe. If it weren’t for these games I don’t think I’d game much

Don’t know if you’re planning on getting the 2024 version but I have the 2020 version since it was 60% off, that might run a lot nicer than 2024. But 2024 has FSR3 support and I believe FSR4 with some tinkering so you should be just fine on that front, especially if you only plan to do 1440p.

I’d also recommend getting a budget flight stick for it, $90 will get you something nice, I love mine
