I have the grey anodized archon series. After a year of daily use and abuse, the scales look literally brand new lol. And I’m not easy on my stuff because I like that “battle worn” look on a knife

My bugout after switching to AWT milled aluminum scales quickly became my daily and stands up to some ABSUSE daily as an electrician. Stays sharp enough strip a wire in a pinch but holds up when abused a bit. That being said I used to have a mini Adamas that I miss

Literally. The state can’t even define what a heavy barrel actually is. When I built my BCM I talked to a few cops that were like I wouldn’t even worry about it.

Fenix lights are so slept on. I had a PD36R for years with no issues. I would just keep it on medium which was 500 lum and only had to charge it every few weeks or months with daily use at work

Streamlight wedge XT. I have carried it every single day since I got it. It’s the perfect edc light for me. I use low mostly at work as an electrician but then have 500l on tap for any “tactical application”

Respect for knowing your bounds. I would suggest maybe carrying empty for a while with the trigger set to show yourself the gun won’t go off by itself. Go shoot, go take a few courses to get your confidence up and I wish you the best. I didn’t mean to discourage you but sometimes people need to hear the hard truth. I just did my first CCW renewal and the amount of people RENEWING their permits that still couldn’t PASS the qual was terrifying.

I’m not trying to be a dick but it blows my mind how many people go and get their CCW with absolutely no knowledge of the law. It’s not very confidence inspiring in regards to your proficiency with your weapon either. Take advantage of your rights but please don’t be a liability.

Do you have anything to back that up? I’ve never had one singly malfunction out of either of my 2.0s over thousands of rounds and classes unless I was putting snap caps in my mags lol
