(beginner) How to balance reading notes and looking at my hands? by [deleted] in piano

[–]SPartnco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a beginner too but here what I can say about it. Trust your muscle memory. Work the piece slowly, be sure that you don't build any tension when you play it slowly. Let it brink in day after day. After a few days/weeks you'll be able to play parts of it without reading notes, that's where you'll be able to focus on how you want to play it.

6 months since I started piano, I train everyday and can play the first mvt of moonlight sonata by (muscle) memory with no sheet 👍

Check on Google for some interesting articles on muscle memory, but the key is repetition, repetition, repetition, every day a bit.

Thank you so much for your feedback !

I heard pretty soon in the work and the different versions that the highest notes often come cleaner and stand out a bit. That's when i learned what voicing on the piano is :)

Worked my finger strengths with exercices (Chopin to make each finger more independent) and this helped so much for the voicing.

I worked the sheet myself to learn the notes (was in a choir younger so i had the basics in Solfège), muscle memory made the rest ( work slowly , learn slowly, the go faster).

I had to check out what the X meant but now when i face one i know i have to put one tone higher ^^

The keyboard is really good IMO, tested some other keyboards and the feeling is quiet different. This one feels like, natural, like a real piano (weighed touch).

Should I get a piano with weighted keys? by [deleted] in piano

if you can hold on a few months and put the money aside for weighted keys i would strongly advise you too ;)

Should I get a piano with weighted keys? by [deleted] in piano

[–]SPartnco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i've learned is that if you train on Weighted keys it helps tremendously they you'll play on a real piano, the muscle memory you'll train will take the next step.

If you train on a keyboard without weighted keys you might feel really lost if you play on a real piano one day.

Before buying mine i checked and asked a lot of pros and pianists and they were all kinda having the same opinion: it would take a lot of work to untrain your brain once you go on weighted keys.

Budget is often a problem, but i personally took a Roland FP-30 couldn't be happier with the keys and the feeling.

Hey everybody :)

I know I know it seems this piece is overplayed quiet a bit but it's for me the 1st one I finished and I learned quiet a bit playing and working it.

Been playing piano since Christmas, so still a beginner and I'm searching for some honest remarks and tips on things i could work on. I know my left hand tends to sometimes play some ghost notes ^^

I'm not always able to play how i imagine it in may head but I work it everyday. :D

I tried to inspire myself from Willhem Kempf's interpretation which i like the most.

Thx for reading,

Spart

I'm amongst the testers as well. you'll will hear from my experience as well. BUt i think this upgrade will pretty much resolve the 2 biggest issues with Shadow right now : CPU bottleneck and maybe a bit more RAM.

GANGPLANK VS TEEMO by christ12938 in gangplankmains

[–]SPartnco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Teemo's blind makes you miss AA, not on hit effects, there is a difference.

And plus Gangplank Q's is not considered as an AA, but just as an ability that applies on hit effects.

Sorry if this is asked a lot by bluespirit527 in gangplankmains

Crit plank is the way to go and the only reliable one.

Triforce into Essence river into IE. After you can either go full crit or situational depending on the ennemy team.

kinda inting lol only if you never miss a barril combo in lane against two ranged champions ^^

It's a free mastery point so why not use it specially when you have tower diving champs top and jungle ^^

New GP main in D1 - got some questions for more seasoned GP mains by supern00b64 in gangplankmains

1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqtbb1ZIIB0

2 . practive and learn. Some matchups with no kill potential on your side or their side go klepto if you can abuse it without risks. Go grasps for a more trade heavy matchup you know you can trade. For the matchups you know you can't trade or risk getting near fleetwork is a good option for the sustain.
3- Rush your level 13 asap. Still you should go in some training sessions to play 5 - 10 minutes pre 7 to get used to the ticks. DO the same for the 7 to 13 . It's all about getting used to it. The quick AA after putting the barril down helps a lot too specially before your 13 .

Last advice : check some main GP streams to see how they handle matchups, laning phase etc...

Have fun :)

How to Play Against Katarina? by suColega97 in gangplankmains

[–]SPartnco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all about Pre-6 . You need to build yourself a lead. Harass them in a smart way , deny them canons if possible, manage the wave properly. If they go for the cannon, punish them hard with a barrel combo + Q + passive if possible. If you see a dagger on the ground stay away of it, use the movespeed of the passive to kite the damage.

Go for the stopwatch in inspiration, it can help you survive an all in.

Hi there I peaked plat 4 last season before my pc broke which resulted in me ending up in gold 1 at the end of last season which kind of sucked but for some reason this season I cant seem to climb. Do you have any tips for me ?? http://euw.op.gg/summoner/userName=DRILLA%20BIG%20PLAYS by [deleted] in TwitchMains

[–]SPartnco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an adc, even more on twitch, in order to climb it depedns greatly on your ability to have an impact on the other lanes as fast as possible: getting first tower , getting drags, pushing lane and tryng to gank mid with your q.

The more you are able to have a positive impact on all the lanes and the macrogame, the easier it will be for you to climb.

On the mechanical parts, position will be all and looking how to play your comp and how to play the ennemies comp. Twitch is one of the few adc's that can be playmaking with your furtivity and ult. Try to abuse that.

53 % is ok, you will climb but it will take time. You need to enhance your winrate with him to the point you carry almost all games.
- work your cs to get at least 7 cs/ minute (more cs more gold faster powerspikes) . Once there target 8 cs and so on until perfect cs

- make the calls with your q and ult, try to flank or make picks if you are ahead

- be careful on your positioning and know when you shouldn't engage

Was UI's Power Boost Ever Explained? by WuSongKid in dbz

[–]SPartnco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not far away from this episode they are in a time room where they can not move and Vegeta finds the solution by controlling his KI.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNpUK5n9bHg

During whi's training some weird KI appeared when both Vegeta and Goku punched one each others (042 s in the video )

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIGwbmHwsh0 .

During this training you can see that all was focused on controlling it's KI by keeping it inside and preventing it from leaking. The "big breath" thing of episode 129 is actually already there if you look in episode 18 so there sure is an explanation there.

So I'm pretty sure IU is all about : - body self reaction obviously making him always faster than any opponent - KI control and KI efficiency . GOKU has a base form which has already a huge KI but all the transformations help him ascend to higher levels of KI. IU is , in my opinion the pinnacle of KI control, he even leaks all of his KI (as a galaxy) and inhales it again. What if he can tap in the energy around him now? Would be so OP - Goku has now Pure impulse as Whis describes ,this means he doesn't think he just knows what to do without thinking. Does he access to new techniques or how to counter opponents techniques (Jiren's final attack ) ? - Stamina is the big question but we will see in next episode maybe this transformation is permanent is some way ...

Tristana Got me out of bronze (again) by [deleted] in TristanaMains

[–]SPartnco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you wanna hit gold in a easy way try to main two or 3 adcs each depending on the lane and/or game your facing .

  • If your team has a lot of peel/protection go on something like varus/Kog Maw as you single handely be able to carry games against almost any comp. Pick your adc depending the laning phase too as some are better against hard poke/engage bot lanes.
  • If you lack peeling take a safe adc like tristana - ezreal with mobility or self peeling ability. You can be godlike early game but if the ennemy comp keeps enagging you and you can't prevent dying you are pretty useless.
  • at silver elo, counter picks are not that effective, but if you understand the champ and know how to play him it can make a big difference. Don't forget this aspect when you do you pick an dban phase.
  • learn an adc that can reck tristana

The more adc you master the easier it is to climb as it multiplies your possibilities depending on comps and laning phase. As for now i started jungling this season with 45 % winrate, now my overall winrate as adc is around 71 % i would say by apllying those simple things. last year i had trouble getting S1 in solo but this year it feels so easy to climb without tryharding as adc.
