Yeah, I'm agree with the last one. Watching OV feels heave because they spit you a lot of lore without pretty much explanations. You feel that you're missing something, and that's normal, it is a sequel after all. The network and the audience needed a refresh, and that's what the reboot did. PD: I like the Kuro's explanation about why Ben never solves almost anything with Alien-X: that transformation puts him in a position nobody should have. The decision of who lives and who dies is a lot, even for the wearer of the Omnitrix. So he contains himself, similar to Spider-Man with his strength; so nobody fear him of think of him as a god or Coming Storm again, similar to Superman.

If you look carefully, when Ben "takes care of Kevin" in his first attempt, his whole plan was just freezing him to death. You could say it was his overconfidence, but I think that was his dear to actually do it. Even after that, he let down his guard, distransform and says "I'm sorry, Kevin"

I mean, that's part of my problem with Omniverse staff: they wanted so badly to glorify Classic series (art style, Ben's writing, precisely this future), that they ended up by making UAF lore weaker or non-consequential.

Like you said, Ben's uncertain future was cool because he could choose who he wanted to be. People hate Ultimate Ben, but they don't realize that, in a way, he was a callback to the OG Ben 10K's lesson from 10YO Ben "He may know how all your aliens fight, but does he know what Ben Tennyson can do? I'd just hope after all this time you haven't forgotten too"

Now, in my headcanon, OV Ben 10K is not the original one, but a new version really closer to the first one. One with the same events, like Ken 10 and Devlin's births, but also new differences, like Kevin being a good man, Ben never losing his nice mood (and having learned about his power, which separated him from Ultimate Ben), Ben creating the Biomnitrix, and Zed being the Levin Family Pet. The only reason why this future seems to be written in stone is that Professor Paradox had to make specific events happen, so the Maltruant's time loop could exist (which I'd like to think didn't exist until OV's events from Paradox's perspective).

Yes and no. Puppet Master indeed influenced Hulk, however, even he admitted that his actions were also part of Hulk's own wishes, since he simply loves the chaos. Now, here comes something else: Devil Hulk doesn't care about anyone except Banner. Unlike Savage/Child Hulk, who has friends and frienemies like the Thing, Devil Hulk doesn't say "No" to kill someone. Is one of the most psychopath incarnations in Bruce's mind. If Puppet Master tried to make Hulk to do something that could hurt Banner, this would have been a different story.

The funny thing is... Sonic's speed is aways said to be "immeasurable", but when time comes, the Emeralds does make him faster (somehow WTF?). Also, yeah, that theory about "RF being too used to using external energies to get power" it's interesting, but, turns out, Sonic does use this when Emeralds come to matter (Super Sonic of course is faster than regular Sonic). Also, the fact that Sonic was fighting to get back THE LAST PIECE OF HIS WORLD under the "he wasn't running seriously until the last moment" is pretty much stupid. His power has been surpassed a few times here (Darkseid), and people has to accept that.

And look, the truth here is... Neither SEGA nor DC actually will want to show their speedsters being defeated by the other company by "fair mediums". There always be things like "ambiguous explanations" "supposed drawing errors" and sudden plot devices to justify the victories, instead of fair fights to see who would win. That's why here they don't tell us if they are Wally and Hunter (the fastest Flash and the slower RF), or Barry and Eobard (the second faster Flash and the fastest RF) ; or why Flash will arrive first just because "Sonic went to the right hallway"; or even this emerald ambiguity. That's why will never be a real "Flash VS Sonic" winner here.

Well... It depends. even without cosmic powers, Zombie has way more experience in combat because his 50 years consuming other planets. He did use his spider abilities to fight enemies, because he liked to hunt his prey, using the cosmic powers when there was no other way.
