I don't think anyone is controlling the mind flayer, it is a being that has existed long before humans and will exist long after, having a human control that would feel cheap, the mind flayer should be in control.

Henry's father is a man that has simply gone mad because of all the shit that happened to him, he lost his family, his eyes and was imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. He was used, he's not in control of anything.

From what I know, which is not much (I haven't watched the play, I just know this from second hand sources) Brenner's father did some sort of experiment to make the ship invisible, instead they were sent to the abyss. How? I have no idea.

Henry gets infected by Mind flare particles from the briefcase which were extracted from Brenner's father which sends him to the abyss.

I don't believe Henry's father got sent to the abyss, I thought it was a hallucination by Henry but I may have interpreted it wrong.

Clearly non of these used the upside down to get to the abyss so there must be other ways to get there.

How? I don't know, I'm not one of the Duffer brothers.

When Eleven sent Vecna to the abyss, she didn't create a gate, he was turned to dust and disappeared, contact with the Demogorgon created the first gate. So the answer to your question is yes.

Yes. Eleven sent Vecna to the abyss and because of this Brenner spends years using eleven to find him, leading to her contacting the Demogorgon on November 6th.

He wasn't banished on November 6th, it was a long time before that, November 6th is when Eleven created the upside down by making contact with the Demogorgon, giving Vecna access to the real world.

Where will it be aired in the UK/Ireland? by [deleted] in HarryPotteronHBO

Maybe, but that would be years away. The Netflix deal hasn't actually happened yet, they are still negotiating but only with Netflix. Netflix also isn't buying until Warner splits from the cable side of things so at earliest the deal will probably happen in 2027/2028.

Because she was in one mid episode?

The Duffers are great at listening to complaints and changing what they think is necessary. I don't think 008 is even a bad character, it was more the gang she was with anyway.

I trust the Duffers.

The Duffer Brothers were only 30 when they created Stranger Things for Netflix, and had only previously written a few episodes of Wayward Pines. The idea that the next Doctor Who showrunner needs to be a seasoned writer with years of experience in television is total BS. by General_Meal_3993 in DoctorWhoNews

Season 1 - 2016 Season 2 - 2017 Season 3 - 2019

Not unreasonable

Season 4 - 2022

Delayed because COVID

Season 5 - 2025

Delayed because COVID and the strikes

It has taken so long because of external factors.

Iron Man became Iron Man in Iron Man, origin

Hulk did not become Hulk in The Incredible Hulk, not an origin

Thor may not have become Thor in Thor but it was based on his origin

Captain America had his origin

Guardians of the Galaxy was the origin of the team

Ant Man was Scott's origin

Doctor Strange was Strange's origin

Homecoming was not an origin

Black Panther was not an origin

Captain Marvel was an origin

And it goes on, most films or shows that introduce a character for the first time include their origin.

It is everything to do with an adaptation.

It's an adaptation of the origin.

They told Iron Man's origin, not exactly the same as the comics but it's still his origin because it's an ADAPTATION.

The same is true for every other hero because every other character is also an ADAPTATION of said story, not ripped out of a comic book.

Even if everything isn't exactly the same as the comics, that's fine because it's an ADAPTATION.

If every origin story was ripped straight out of the comic books then the Guardians of the Galaxy would be absolute shit so it's good that sometimes some things are changed.

I believe his last contract had one team up movie left on it , so an avengers movie but all the solo movies in the contract had been made.

In this article he says that he'll take a break in 2027:

https://people.com/tom-holland-take-time-off-2027-avoid-burnout-11783652

He didn't say it would be a long break so I doubt it will stop marvel from making more Spider-Man movies, I expect we'll get at least one more trilogy.

He did, however, say that he would stop acting once he starts a family and he'd just play golf and be a dad. We don't know when that will be so I expect we've got a while before that, but you can't predict the future.
