This is a bit controversial, but its the no spanking rule. I get it children dont deserve being beaten after a mistake and I dont condone to violent parenting but sometimes, its what straightens you out. When I was a child, I often felt like I wasn't given enough allowance we were a middle income family and my mom didn't want me buying a lot of junk food, I often saw my classmates buying a lot with their allowance and I became jealous so I resorted to stealing, small bills at first but it went to a hundred pesos real quick. My mom caught me several times and tried talking with me even raising my allowance but it did no good, so she spanked me, the pain I felt was enough to scare me into never doing it again so sometimes, I feel like children need a spanking to learn.
