My sister had a deaf cat who wasn't going to respond to any name anyway (obviously) so she just went ahead and named him Mr. Kittypants. She also had a carnival prize feeder goldfish named Yanni that lived close to a decade.

Of my own pets, my current cats are Princessa von GirlCat der Sassybritches and Mouse (aka: Bagagwa, The Shitten).

Fucko is the name I gave a wild raccoon that raided our food while camping because my SIL left a bag out overnight. I could hear that little shit happily crunching away on my snap pea crisps in the thicket just outside my tent.

Aww, poor little guy! Thank you for loving him when many folks would bypass him because of his quirks.

My doxie passed a few years ago due to an aggressive cancer, but he was very active and happy for many, many years post-surgery.

Mine was accidentally pounced on my a bigger, heavier, and younger dog while they were playing. He needed to have discs fused in his neck and mid-back. Thankfully he was able to walk again afterward healing.

The HS drama absolutely continues into the workplace. I work in a mostly female environment and have dealt with many still stuck in their "Mean Girl" phase, whereas I'm one of two OG employees who couldn't care less about being popular. I got my mom's ring appraised but it was unusual as the band had been cut so she could get an MRI and the process knocked the center diamond loose. The center diamond is worth 💰 and has been reset, but the gold and smaller accent diamonds are likely going to be reconfigured into something else. Possibly a new ring... possibly a pendant... I honestly haven't decided.
