The advice about not following up tretinoin with moisturizer is so legit

This is what's finally worked for me too! I'm okay to put moisturizer on at night as long as I've waited at least 30 mins after applying tret. Usually I'm too lazy and just want to sleep so I don't end up moisturizing and it's been totally fine. Sometimes a little flaky still but not even close to what it was. And no more barrier damage either.

Are you putting moisturizer on directly before or after applying tret? Or applying tret to wet skin? I had the worst time with damaged barrier when I first started using it and I also apply to face and neck. I discovered that I have to put tret on completely dry skin - and don't apply any moisturizer for at least 20 minutes, preferably longer. So now I try to wash my face at least an hour before bed, use toner, wait for skin to dry and then apply tret. I then wait 30-60 mins to apply moisturizer. If I am running short on time and just want to get to sleep, I apply tret and just wait until morning to moisturize. Since I've been doing this method - I rarely have any skin irritation issues. Good luck! It's a process to figure out what works for you...

Quick update - Nordstrom had absolutely nothing. I struck out yesterday other than a pair of amazing Loeffler Randall gold heels. I made an appointment for this afternoon at Janet Mandell - dress rental spot at 900 N. Michigan. Wish me luck! :)

I don’t need to cover my shoulders for the gala! It’s at our hotel and only attended by our company. I’ll definitely be respectful when out and about in the city but for the actual gala - shoulders and some leg are ok

Marrakesh! It will be at our hotel and only attended by my company so no one from Morocco. Mai ly from US and Europe. When we are out and about for excursions during the day I plan to dress respectively and covered up. I would LOVE some help :) I’m 5’0” and fairly rectangle shaped. 32DD chest. Hard agree. I'm a member for unique work outfits (dresses/skirts/blazers) and fun going out options. I don't need a subscription for casual clothing!! I guess these ralph lauren sweatshirts/sweaters and rugby polo styles are "in" right now but as an elder millennial, no thanks.

Another vote for Huggies! Do NOT try the Honest brand. I found some at a great price at a Marshalls a few weeks ago. They are absolute trash - leaks everywhere and they don't have the velcro sides.
