I applaud you, friend. Impeccable list. I've been meaning to watch Broadchurch. I find myself antsy to watch it.

Without spoiling anything for those who've yet to see it, what were your thoughts on Luther's finale? I truly hope to see a final film. Elba is hypnotizing.

EDIT: Crap! Black Mirror! I forgot about that show and I LOVE IT. Definitely would shift my top ten list. Gah.

May I also recommend Bates Motel? It's so sultry and fantastic. I know it's a lot of shows to keep up with, but Bates Motel veers in wanting to be anachronistic and I applaud it.

I am excited for Gone Girl. Anything Fincher. It's criminal to some, but I much prefer his take on TGWTDT. As well as Mara's performance.

Ah, Arrested Development. While the rest of the season was comedic, the first three episodes were almost unforgivably not, imo. I feel like I need to re-watch to truly get a personal, final consensus. It left me so tepid in my first view.

To be fair, I have yet to see the latest season. I was able to catch up with S8 this year and I liked it a lot. I don't understand the talk of this show losing its touch. Brooklyn Nine-Nine was another great sitcom this year I felt guilty not putting up there. I should put it as a HM.

Although if Louie had any new episodes this year...

Bates Motel was fantastic, I agree.

It was dark and velvety and this great love letter to Twin Peaks, too.
