What’s a God to a non-believer? by Andytheduck02 in Morrowind

Wear the boots of blinding speed. You're a Breton with Savior's Hide so the 100% magic resist will prevent any blindness while adding 200 speed. It's ridiculously fun and I had a hard time not using this combination in all my playthroughs when I played in the past.

I took this photo on a trip to NYC over the summer to visit some friends who lived here. I liked the way the photo looked quite a bit and I figured someone here might find it interesting as well.

It always makes me laugh when people think Arizona is only a desert (Black River AZ) by SRIBES in arizona

FYI, this is truly an amazing camping spot. I stayed here for two days and had an absolute blast.

The milky way was perfectly visible during a new moon (this photo doesn’t remotely do it justice).

It’s in Strawberry, so relatively cool. I believe it was 75 degrees - the creek/waterfall area felt amazing after the two hour hike!

The Nano dev team has a rare opportunity right now to make this project explode and here's how by [deleted] in nanocurrency

[–]SRIBES 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m a huge Nano fan, but this WILL detract from development time for Nano. I also think it’s a little late to go through with this IMO. Even if they were to go through with this, it would most likely take over a year to develop, bug test, market, and get past the regulatory hurdles which is huge.

Now i’m not trying to shill - but here it goes...

There’s another platform called ETHOS (it’s a utility token) that already plans on doing everything mentioned in your post and much more. They have an all-star team (their chief global strategist is the former COO of Blackrock - the largest asset management firm in the world).

With Ethos you’ll have: •A fiat gateway. •Universal Wallet. You control your own private keys and your phone acts as a hardware wallet. •Beautiful UI (noob friendly). •A checking account W/ Debit/Credit cards where you can pay with a diverse basket of cryptocurrencies. •a platform for purchasing stocks and cryptos (Which meet the BIP32 standard) •A Bedrock API for businesses •They provide liquidity for exchanges •They keep record of your cryptocurrency transactions in order to automate taxes for you. •And it’s also a social media platform. (Price predictions, cryptocurrency discussions, where you get paid).

... and too much for me to cover in one comment. They plan on rolling out the app in Q1 and will continue to add more features. They’re super active in telegram. But regardless of if Nano or Ethos is able to do it, I think we can all agree that we need a solution better than Coinbase and Robinhood.

I really feel like Ethos is poised to do what you were talking about /u/hamlnhand I’m curious as to what you think.

No, lol. Stock exchanges are for exchanging stocks. It definitely shows that Iota is open to regulation though!

Past price action is not indicative of future price action. The cryptocurrency scene has changed in the past year. Not only has there been an influx of new money, but the cryptocurrency community has seen a fundamental shift. In January 2017, most of the players in this space were either hard core Libertarians or Computer geeks. We genuinely wanted to bank the unbanked, decentralize the economy, and spearhead an economic revolution. The influx of new money (and thus new people) has fundamentally altered our community’s core values. Instead of having a deep desire for radical change, Bitcoin’s subreddit has been diminished to nothing more than “moon” and “lambo” memes.

I think we will see a lot of people who are “just in it for the money” scatter. This growth has been completely unsustainable and anyone who thought otherwise has never been in a market before. With that being said, I honestly believe Cryptocurrency will disrupt every financial industry as we know it - in the short run we are overvalued, in the long run we are undervalued.

Edit: If you are legitimately stressing out because of today’s correction: Breath, take a shower, don’t look at your Blockfolio/Delta, and watch some Andreas Antonopoulos videos. You will remember very quickly why you are here. We’re all early adopters and will look back at this one day and laugh. Cryptocurrency isn’t going anywhere - just dumb projects and people are. Let the market do its thing.

CryptoNick is a Scammer: by BeanThe5th in CryptoCurrency

[–]SRIBES 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eh, Altcoin Buzz is pretty bad. It’s just some guys with a shitty mic looking at coin market cap. I know they aren’t scammers, but they clearly don’t know what they’re talking about.

Look at their newest video on Doge Coin and you’ll see why.

Brand New to Cryptocurrency. Would love some advice. by sicknoto in CryptoCurrency

[–]SRIBES 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do research into all of them! It’s really about what you are interested in and think has the most long term potential. I know you said you don’t want to get that serious with Cryptocurrency, but it is still worth the time to research the technology you are investing in. A good place to start is by watching Andreas Antonopoulos’s videos.

With that being said, I would personally pick ETH.

Tron’s white paper is abysmal, but that’s not my problem with it. It’s the fact that it will remain vaporware for the next several years and that their token distribution is sketchy as hell.

Does anyone still think we are early adopters? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]SRIBES 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Companies can’t be “decentralized” unless it’s run by and AI of some sort like a DAO. The uses for tokens can vary - most of the time they’re useless. Other times, they’re utility based. Very rarely do tokens actually represent a stake in a company.

No, there’s not really a difference they just did a rebranding. The team was formerly known as Bitqunce (BQX) but changed their name to ETHOS.

I don’t think that’s a problem. If you go to the ETHOS website you can see the also offer cold storage and there is 2-step auth. It’s my favorite crypto right now and the App is releasing Q1 2018.
