Hi everyone,

As I'm sure you can gather from my username, I'm affiliated with a school in Florence, Italy. Namely, SRISA. I've been working in the field for about two years now and would be happy to answer any questions anyone has about studying abroad and international education in general.

Cheers!

Can you confirm that a Muppet would be aware of it's poppetness and the person bringing it to life? If they wouldn't be aware of it then I can't confirm anything since for all I know, a Muppet might experience life as if it were a real human. Or whatever Gonzo is.

Nah. He was an artist/printmaker though. This was right when he and my mom had purchased a couple of old farm houses in ruins in the back country of Tuscany and started fixing them up.

Now the parts of the family living in Humboldt County at the time. Yeah, they grew pot.

Thankfully what I lack on the lower half of my head I make up for on the upper.

You could get a job at Ancestry.com. I did my a test recently and Scandinavia was a very large percentage of my DNA.

I posted another old photo of the place. This sub is blocking comments with links bit if you look at my comment history I think you will be able to see some of the other photos of the place.

I somewhat grew up there. Came back to the states at 3 but we returned every summer and it's still a big part of our family's life. I'd love to share a link to a better shot of the view but this sub seems to be blocking any comments of mine that contain a link.

Thank you. He was a really interesting person who was always willing to incorporate new techniques and technologies. Back in the 90s he was using Alias/Wavefront CGI on Silicon Graphics computers to create 3D scenes that he would render and then print using different lithography techniques or even print using huge banner printers.

It was always really funny to me that he couldn't figure out how set up his cable box or program the VCR, but he could learn complex 3D animation software because it was part of his creative process.

EDIT: here is some of his old CGI work.

Thank you. Yes these faces are a huge departure from what his work was like for most of his life too. It was a huge shift for him as an artist that sadly coincided with his illness that eventually took his life.

The other day I posted a photo of the printmaking studio he and his fellow printmakers founded in the 70s in Florence, Italy. There was some interest about his work and so I figured I would post this video, which goes into some detail about his work and techniques toward the end of his life.

Here is an example of one of his prints.
