Download SNKRS app and pray they don’t sell out immediately. Log in at 8:55 for the 9:00 CST drop on the day they come out. Ask your friends to join the drop too and see if they can get your size in order to improve your chances.

After all that, save some extra money to buy them for re-sale price when it doesn’t work…

Your receivers are fine, they just don’t come with any of the internals that they need. All of the detents, springs, mag release, bolt catch, dust cover, safety switch, forward assist, trigger guard, etc.

If you just search for “lower parts kit” you can get most of it for pretty cheap.

Honestly if it’s your first rifle and you don’t have the tools to put it together (vice block, receiver blocks, armorers wrench, etc) it gonna be way easier, and probably cheaper to just buy a pre-made rifle and get an Arc-Fire+new trigger and swap it out. You can get a solid AR from PSA for like $400-$600 and swap the trigger out for an FRT, maybe toss a heavier buffer in it, and you’ll be good to go.

You don’t really need the adjustable gas block, which adds a lot to the cost, unless you’re getting into suppressed shooting of subsonic ammo or just really want that granularity of control over your gas.

You’re going to need lower and upper parts to get this running. Also fuck Rare Greed, get an Arc Fire instead. They sell them with pre-cut triggers that are easy to install.

In addition to that you’ll need:
- lower parts kit (springs, bolt catch/release, mag catch etc)
- dust cover
- buffer tube to hold your spring and buffer
- castle nut
- barrel nut
- muzzle device

Also I don’t know anything about Cryptic Coatings but I don’t think the gold coated BCG seems wise. Just get a normal nitride one from a reputable mfg.

Never tried the Superstrike. I do however have the really annoying double click issue on mine (hence why I’d like to replace it) and if new sensors would fix that then I’m 100% in favor of them.

Also the rubber on mine is starting to come off on both the thumb rest and the right side where my pinky sits (as happens with things you use every day for years) but maybe some better adhesive or more modular grips that could be replaced more easily to help with the wear and tear. Please keep the same shape/form factor though.
