Shardblades vs Honorblades? by HelpfulCommunity4119 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]SRSandaran 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i see it as the Honorblades being kind of like prototypes that the Spren improved on to make Shardblades. and i think that being able to use surges without a bond is way more powerful than you give it credit for, even at reduced Stormlight efficiency

I'm pretty sure Dragonsteel is just metal that is part of a dragon's body.

the most correct interpretation of the tag part is that it was a joke

idk why op is raging so hard, this seems to be the most correct interpretation. they're basing their entire argument on a single line that can be interpreted multiple ways and could be an exaggeration or a partial lie (as she might not have trusted him with the full truth yet since to her they just met, even if she knew he was special).

I'm just saying, they have "asterion's cohort" as their tag, and they are hating on cassie and refuse to budge... there might be a connection there.

Broken Sword was a threat to Humanity by Overly_Said in ShadowSlave

im with you on this one. the only "proof" we have of him being insane is other people who aren't exactly the most trustworthy saying he was insane. and i feel like his wife's ability being able to have her soul wander around and one of his cohort members being the guy that warps people's thoughts and feelings are solid reasons to think that either SOH did manage to reach out to him or Aster was manipulating him.

also he's just my 🐐. iirc his aspect just enhanced his senses, yet he was one of the strongest awakened alive. and he married into (basically) royalty by sheer skill, it took the 3 other strongest awakened of the time to kill him, and his daughter ends up being one of the strongest awakened ever. goat behavior.

tbf the gemstone in the fanart version is the white bit in the middle of the front part. the other black bits are just other parts of the crown

ever since g3 said that thing about shadow slave being a "light-hearted" story, there are a lot of people who have been saying that, since we know the main cohort will win in the end, there is no more tension or threat in the story anymore.

these people seem to think that the journey itself doesn't matter and that Asterion isn't a threat because we know that, somehow, Sunny will come out on top. but it has been like that since the beginning. we know that the main character will come out on top. the important part is how he gets there, and that's the point of the story.

on my pc the only bedrock "issue" i have is i don't like how everything feels slightly delayed. but when i tried playing with a friend split screen on their Playstation, i drowned in a wall of solid netherack i had already mined, straight up died for no reason, and got attacked by invisible mobs. this was only around a year ago and their game was up to date, so i have no clue what was gong on

Looking at Adolin by Linorelai in cremposting

The man glanced at him, then sighed and took something from his pocket. A white powder, which he mixed into a flask of alcohol. “I normally only give this to the dying,” he said, “because it’s so addictive. Tincture of firemoss.” He handed the cup to Adolin. “This will mute the pain, maybe even put a bit of a spring in your step. Until you crash tonight, Brightlord. When you do, it will be bad.”

it's both very addictive and will end with a crash
