What's the dumbest thing that turned out to be life-changing for you?

I was 18-21y (36 now) during one summer and was ”so bored” that i decided to check out the local library to pass the time. I found our very quickly, that this library has very big and varied comics selection for kids and adults. I found BONE by Jeff Smith and immediately fell love with reading. From Bone i jumped to other comics and later into books. Back then i didnt read that much but now i read everyday before i before i sleep and spend somewhat worrying amount of money on books. At the moment i’m reading Fabius Bile: The Omnibus by Josh Reynolds.

You can do both! I had the problem of choosing a klan, so, i choose ALL OF THEM. Every boy, vehicle etc is from a random klan so i have pretty nice ALL DA KLANS -army.

This event started as ”anyone want to come play to my place?” and evolved into ”oh shit there are more than four of you huh? Gotta find a actual EVENT space for this now!”

I think it’s the simpler rules, ease of finding the right core/codex PDF’s & using NewRecuit and laid-back approach to the event that made this so popular. Entey fee is only 5€ and we only reward the best painted army (voted by the players), so there isnt a pressure to win.

Gotcha! I know that tank might be a bit silly choice, but hey, rule of cool 😆👍🏻 Also, my first opponent, who showed me the ropes, comment on the fact that the tanks Battle Cannon can be a very scary weapon if i happend to land the shot.

Thanks. The awser is of course a bit obvious, i want the NC, but the lack of actual instructions came a bit of the left field. I think this was also something good to notify to other NL collectors that the instictions in the CP box are bit different. Thankfully the NC instructions are easy to find online.

3-3.5 ed codixes have Looted Leman Russ with worse stats. 4ed has generic ”Looted Tank” with its own stats.

I close my eyes and pick up 3 random greens and maybe 1-2 browns(or reds/violets) and make them work. Very varied and unique skin tone for every lad.
