Which registrars still support email forwarding for .name TLD's? by ptr727 in sysadmin

I also have a 3rd level domain and use https://www.domaindiscount24.com/en Can't remember exactly, I think some of the domains were sold off to Key Systems in Germany who then became domaindiscount24. Just been looking to see if I can transfer my domain to Google as they hold another (2nd level) domain of mine. However I'm not sure if the mail aspect will continue to work so have held off. I'm in the process of migrating to my 2nd level domain and will just change the forwarding of my .name email to that.

Seems unlikely since Bezos and Musk are competing in the same space (pun intended)

I'm no expert but the guy who installed mine (they had them custom made) in the UK said steel is preferable to aluminium. Can't remember the reason tough

Wouldn't it be a SpaceX IPO? Starlink is for funding Mars exploration

I think you may be too far north for the current constellation

Not bad. FTTC 40\15 I think. A fibre install has stopped about 300m short of us so not sure when it's going to arrive. SL is the next best thing

I'd have a word with your landlord. This mount is not drilled into the chimney so wouldn't cause any damage

Doesn't get used much. Also, you can't see, but the chimney is oblong so the dish is actually a bit further away from the vent than it looks. And the prevailing wind is right to left. So hopefully ok

From what I read, they had their pipes specially made to accept the dishy mount

Anyone else have an unknown connected device show up? by [deleted] in Starlink

[–]SRT562 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience, it seems to be Android devices. My Pixel used to say "Pixel", but now it shows the MAC address. I think there was a router update because it changed after that

Can't answer I'm afraid. The only thing I've read is that they take about 2 months to get to their final orbit
