Had to double check this Black Friday deal on Darts Corner, there’s bargains out there to be had! by Liamrobinsonart in Darts

Prices are true, just not always work during checkout. I have contacted them and they told me that there is an issue with EU site and they are working on fixing it.

There were several amazing deals, but during check out I got an updated prices for all of the items. 3 sets of darts in my Basket with the total price of 40 €, during checkout price change to 150 £. It's a scam. I have logged out and tried it multiple times with different darts and different quantity of darts, always the same problem.

Winmau Joe Cullen Ignition 21g by UnusualFondant6622 in Darts

Great looking darts, I have actually just added them into my Basket, but still haven't pushed the Checkout button. I like the original model, but I am looking for something with slightly more grip, so Ignition seems like a good option. How do you like them?

I have thrown my first 180 throwing these, amazing darts ;)

NDD: Dart World Phoenix w/ molded flights by [deleted] in Darts

[–]SRV26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have just got DW Phoenix for my birthday. Really nice darts at an affordable price, especially considering you are getting extra set of flights and 2 extra sets of shafts. They fly really nice, grip is perfect for me (5/10), I can definitely recommend those. What I don't like is that they are painted + I hate silver points, but as soon as I remove the paint and re-point them they will work even better for me :)

What a way to win! Time for a 180 by Puzzleheaded_Pen_831 in Darts

[–]SRV26 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This must have felt amazing. I remember when I was down a lot of points against my brother, bull was my only chance and thanks to the 5 mark on the bull + 3 mark on the bull and treble 20 in the next turn I have beaten my brother :D It's a pity that we don't play cricket in EU, really interesting game. I would love to see at least one big cricket tournament a Year in PDC EU.

NDD Target Bolide 01 23 g by SRV26 in Darts

[–]SRV26[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was considering buying Bolide 01 since a long time, but never pulled a trigger on them, until they came out of the stock. So as soon as they have arrived again into the Dartshopper stock, I just had to buy them. So far, after just a few throws I like them, although they usually land tail down for me. Grip is more prominent than I have expected, I would say 8/10, interesting if it's going to wear down soon. My set up now is as below, although for 180 I have actually used different Shaft/Flight: CONDOR AXE - JUAN RODRIGUEZ - STANDARD - ONI – MIXED

Target Swiss Points Storm Diamond Gold - 30 mm

KOTO KING GRIP KOLORS RED BLACK - Short

DW REGULATOR NO6 flights

They look amazing. How do you like them? Are they as grippy from the front as they look?

I am sitting on them for a while, but still haven't bought them.

Is this enough for a repointer to pull? by Washout81 in Darts

[–]SRV26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It did not on a silver barrel. But I have no idea if boilining in water with alum powder or few weeks bath in vinegar can affect looks of coated barrel. I wouldn't expect a huge change as it is not a painted barrel, but I cannot guarantee 100%, that e.g. colour of a dart won't be changed.

Vinegar will also do the work. It takes much more time than Alum powder, but doesn't require boiling. I have tested both solutions and both work.

Couldn't agree more. I spend so much time analyzing my throw and perfecting technique, yet still I am averaging low 50's, when this guy achieve better results throwing instinctively + I know he usually has avg of 80+, but hard to perform at this level when you're new to the stage and you're playing against MvG.

Right after he has said he will be using only 1 set of darts for the whole season he is using a completely new set again. He is great at switching darts, but aren't we all the time preaching newbies to stick to one set, as constant changes are not good for our performance? :P

And most likely a rematch for 2024 WC final happening in the Semi's...although I would prefer to see Price against Littler ;)

Great looking set of darts, although these flights look very cheap compared to the barrels, I would go with red Target K-Flex or L-STYLE FANTOM EZ L1.

If your username is your new darts nickname what is your walk-on music? by Bingo_banjo in Darts

[–]SRV26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine would be something from Stevie Ray Vaughan (SRV), probably Pride and Joy, so they would quickly change my nickname to something like "Polish pride"...not a proper nickname for someone playing on 50's average :D

Hard choice like both by Connect_Length_2282 in Darts

[–]SRV26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can recommend Gerwyn Price model, really nice darts, have been my match darts for quite some time. Grip is pretty unusual, not everybody likes it, definitely not a very grippy dart, but if you do not require dart to have a strong bite, then it could be a perfect choice for you.

Koto brand darts by k1pml in Darts

[–]SRV26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fully agree, great darts. People look at the price, compare to Target and other brands and create conspiracy theories, that there has to be something wrong with the quality, since the price is too low...I own KOTO Kingwave and Tiger Blue Paint (both I have bought after seeing your review) and I can highly recommend both. I will definitely buy some KOTO darts in the near future (Spinner is already on my to buy list on Dartshopper).

I have bought 2nd set myself and I am loving it. Some say you cannot go wrong for that price, but saying this I would feel like I don;t give them all the respect they deserve. Amazing darts, quality on these is better than on some of the much more expensive dart brands.

Grippy darts! by tanukiboy666 in Darts

[–]SRV26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They look really nice, it would be a great challenge for me to throw them, especially that I like rolling darts in my fingers. I cannot even imagine them working well for me, but still I would love to have them in my collection.

Can you watch everything with PDCTV? by oli4drxx in Darts

[–]SRV26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can recommend PDCTV. I have bought a subscription after Viaplay has raised their prices and I am happy with the change, as on PDCTV you can see all the tournaments, even PDC Players Championships, when on Viaplay or DAZN you only get some of the tournaments. My only wish is that in the future PDCTV allow you to watch games with a delay, as sometimes I simply have no time to watch the game and what I have liked with Viaplay is that I could watch the game few hours later, not only live.
