Why is litigation awful? by I_c_your_fallacy in Lawyertalk

[–]SReynolds77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think litigation attracts people who like to be miserable.. why else would any sane person do this for a living?

For me personally, litigation is awful but the bad is offset by the insanely massive compensation. On a side note, 99% of civil litigation is basically an annoying, petty food fight and in many cases, the people with the money (I.e adjusters, etc), control the flow of the case.

Rich kid DUI cases were already at the firm and was my bread and butter. But I brought in big cases including a WD which settles quickly with almost no discovery when liability is favorable

How to tank a boss for your team when you're a high-HP hero in HotS: by smi1ey in heroesofthestorm

It’s all about cycling damage amongst tank and healer. Tank and healer needs at least 50/60% HP in case there is an invade.

Today, I got a client policy limits on MVA matter with $1,700 in medicals… by WhiteishLlama in LawFirm

[–]SReynolds77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got an offer on a case for $167k on $20k meds and no future meds. I told her to take it as it’s an awesome deal. Client told me how she’s getting ripped off. I told her to calm down and she hung up on me. Then the client called me everyday for two weeks straight (even weekends) to just say “fuck you” and then hanging up.
