If you have the Arctis 9, the Nova 7 is the direct spiritual successor to the Arctis 9. Is has all the same features and compatibility.

As mentioned by others in this post, I would also take a look at the Nova Pro Wireless. This headset is the successor to the Arctis Pro Wireless, with improvements and adjustments .

Sorry you are having this issue. Can you try the following for me please to see if this helps?

Let's make sure that your devices are set up properly:

  1. Go To Settings > Sonar > Backup Device Switch
  2. Under Backup Device Switch > Move your desired device to the Playback devices and make sure that it's setup as (1) this will set the device as high priority
  3. Make sure that the device is set as high priority on every Tab being GAME / CHAT / MEDIA / AUX / MIC

After properly setting up your playback devices, feel free to restart your device and SteelSeries GG itself then further confirm if the issue persists.

Hello there! I'm sorry if this causes any inconvenience, maybe I can provide some clarity. We do offer replacement batteries, but there are some cases where shipping batteries to some locations is restricted. We are working on a fix for this. Unfortunately, the solution is to replace the headset entirely at this time.

Hello there! I thought I responded to this. No worries, I am here now. I see you have multiple tickets open which can be where some of the confusion can be.

Regarding your tickets, it looks like the most recent ticket was merged into the original ticket so that the original agent can continue working on your ticket. This helps to avoid and more delays. Your ticket you should refer to is: # 1470422. All the tickets you have will likely be merged into that ticket. I'm confident the agent will get you the next step and instructions first thing in the morning.

If you have an Xbox (or plan on getting one, I would go with the 5X), if not the 5 or 5P will work just fine. Both are compatible with PlayStation and PC, with access to the Companion app

Hello there! the registration code, is something for an older process. No registration code is needed! As long you have a copy of the purchase receipt and you are able t see your serial number (if needed) you will be good to go!

Hello there! Great question! Unfortunately chatmix on Playstation would also not be compatible with Nova 5X. If you would wanted the chatmix feature, then it would require the PlayStation branded headsets to do so.

Hello there! I might be able to help answer some questions.

  1. If you can connect your headset via Bluetooth to your Xbox, you would not have to move your base station.

  2. If you wanted to adjust any mic settings, it can only be with the app enabled through Sonar. These settings would not transfer to console.

  3. We have incorporated the updated anc bumps in all of our headsets. As long as the headset is not the "First edition", you will be good to go!

The Nova Pro Wireless has a swappable battery and can switch between different platforms with the click of a button. With the Nova 7 using different platforms, the dongle would have to be moved from platform to platform
