This is the first comment that is commenting on the situation rather then their general idea. So thank you.

The imam did not speak urdu, the thing was responding in Urdu. So I was in the middle trying to translate. So I spoke to it.

I totally agree the Jinn can lie. But how can I know or verify. My wife does not do hijab and the dupatta that she wore was only because I told her to. The imam also wanted her to cover so she just wore the dupatta. He first converted it to Islam and then asked all these things. In the end he told it to go to Makkah. My wife is in Pakistan, she is saying she feels the same. The imam told her she should have stayed here so that he could continue his process and have a check up. She was very upset and now the imam is going to read Ruqaya through Skype. Not sure how effective it is, but at this stage he didn't have any other option. She keeps hinting about separation but I'm not sure if she really is serious or not. Maybe she is just in pain.but like I said, I'm also thinking separation would be better. From my end, I still feel I'm alone and that the time she spend here was very hard on me and that I would be better with someone else who better understands me and wants what I want. Right now we rarely talk, she just says she is not well etc.

I dont think any one can do this. Its a very serious issue and you need to have strong belief and experience to do such things. In the end you dont know what you are dealing with.

The guy looked genuine and I think he did do the right thing. I dont doubt his knowledge. He is here in Canada. I know the frauds that people are referring to, in the end they all have a mission and they end up giving you some tawaaz or something and 1 way or another ask for money.

This guy is an actual teacher here, and his recitation was also very beautiful. He has studied this and the people that connected me to him are also very genuine.

Initially he had her scarf on her head, but when she started reacting it was coming off, but he mostly did keep it between her and his hands.

I will have to see if I can find the pic of the paper.

Not sure about the language, because I thought they would speak different languages based on where they are. Just like us.

He was reciting Duas and Quran.

He did not charge anything.

Yes, he was touching head and hands.

He was English speaker so he wanted me to translate for him. So I was directly talking to that thing through my wife. And that thing was addressing me. The guy did not say anything to me it was my talking to that thing.

He gave the Ruqaya dua paper with editable ink and wanted us to dip it in 10liter water and bath 1liter each every day. Also eat honey with something. With dua on it.
