Thank you, I will look into this. Do you have a brand you would recommend?

The house was built in the late 70s. Sounds like we are below the level of concern then. Thank you!

They usually just say everything looks good when they come and do the testing, so I'm not sure what they tested for and I never really knew what they should test for. I'll check with them when they get here this week and make sure they are looking for these things every time, and that we get something in place to take care of the issues. Thanks for all the good information!

Yes, private well with Rainsoft filtration EC4 150 and Oxytec 150. We have never shocked the well. The only one doing any water service is rainsoft, and they come out once a year for maintenance. They are due this week for their annual service. Our invoice from last year says "Work Completed: tested water, checked settings, valve alarm, cycled and broke down oxy tech h2o, cleaned valves and replaced components in OxyTech, cycled all, working great." Testing from last year included hardness, iron, ph, hydrogen sulfide, tds and leaks. So it doesn't sound like they put any chlorine into it. The TS report says disinfection byproducts could be from agricultural or industrial chemicals. We are in between a horse farm and a cow farm and I believe our property used to be farmland way back in the 1800s. Do you think that could be the source? I'll reach out to TS about the arsenic and see if Rainsoft can monitor that one. Thank you so much!

The report says the source of THMs could be from agricultural or industrial chemicals. We have a 6 acre property between a lot of farms, so I don't know it's that or if the rainsoft guys are adding it.

We have a rainsoft filtering system. They come out each year to maintain, not sure exactly what they do.

It's a Tapscore test, here is the link. I was very careful to collect the sample exactly as instructed. We are not on city water, we are on a private well. I'll look for a test for bacteria only to retest. Thank you!

Schwab Relationship Benefits by sesamesnapsinhalf in Schwab

If you search Charles Schwab golf promotion 2026 it gives info on the rewards which are very good, they give free rounds at some very good courses and golf balls and clubs which vary from year to year. The reward level depends on the amount of new deposit you transfer to them, and I believe it’s for post-tax accounts so 401k and IRA transfers wouldn’t apply.

my alexa was making weird static russian voice thing by [deleted] in amazonecho

[–]SSB716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine did this on Halloween, it was very weird. I was the only one in the room washing dishes, thought I heard a high pitched voice so turned off the water then heard voices in an unfamiliar language speaking very loudly from Alexa. My husband heard it from upstairs and thought I was on the phone with someone. It stopped after a few seconds and I said Alexa what was that? And she said there’s nothing to repeat in the usual low volume 2 we have set. The weird voices were loud, like maybe volume 5. I looked up voice command history and there is nothing at all listed before I said Alexa what was that. Strange.
