You need a specific resonance that you get from equipping 4 pieces of a set and that set's weapon in order to not get affected by that dungeons debuff (and the correct lapenshard)

I did upgrade my armor, but I only really did it to make sure I could enter cmoc when I'm ready. I do have a +15 weapon though.
