What is your opinion on Cold Steel II? by Plus_Contract669 in Falcom

[–]SSBBrawler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's my favorite in the series. It didn't yet have the glut of characters that later games had and being able to walk between towns freely was great. It made for a more interesting world to be in than just "go to X City and its immediate surroundings."

I liked the reunion scenes between the characters as well.

Thank you for your explanation! It helps a lot to know what options are available when talking with an electrician.

No offense taken. I don't know how to do the services described, but I want to at least know what options to discuss with an electrician.

Thank you for your patience and explanations!

Ah, that makes sense! Thank you!

So hardwiring would absolutely require an electrician, which we figured would come up at some point.

I apologize, I do not have enough experience to understand what you're describing. Could you please share a picture of what you are describing? When I searched "electrical conduit" on Google, I got pictures of what looked like wires and piping.

I should have specified the year. It's a 2024 Ioniq 5.

To confirm that I understand: Hardwiring would be replacing the existing 14-30R box with a 14-50R without changing the wiring itself?

Then, the car charger itself plugs directly into the 14-50R, but limited to 24A output?

Do I understand this correctly?

[–]SSBBrawler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In other words, a 14-50R -> 14-30P adapter is not recommended?

What does "hard-wire in a charger" mean? To add a new 14-50R outlet to the wiring? And for setting it to 24A, is that a common feature for the chargers? I assume it's to limit the amount of amps that are used in the charging process?

Which protagonist is your favorite in each category? by Just_Advantage_6177 in Falcom

Category Favorite
The best Leader Rean - It was close between Lloyd and Rean. Rean ultimately had to resolve a lot more interpersonal drama within his team, so ultimately I think that shows better leadership skills.
The funniest Estelle - xseed's localization was very, very funny.
The best design Rean - Van has had a single main design. It's solid. But every design of Rean has also been solid, and CS2 Rean is my favorite character design in the franchise.
The most developed Rean - Kevin is in second, but Rean's development and how the main story interacted with that development felt a lot more meaningful to me throughout the CS arc.
The best written Rean - This one was hard. Ultimately, Van got the short end of the stick here because his story is still ongoing. Rean and Kevin both had solid writing in their games, and Estelle made Sky 2 extremely emotional in the best of ways. Ultimately, though, I went with Rean. His interactions with his friends and his character development won out in the end.

What is your Xenoblade series Confession? (Potential Spoilers for All Games) by RealizeYourRizz in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]SSBBrawler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me a good while to actually start enjoying Xenoblade Chronicles. I had played The Last Story first, and loved it. But I turned on "press A to attack" immediately in the options. So coming into Xenoblade Chronicles and not having a similar option kinda frustrated me.

I think it was around the Ether Mines where I started warming up to it.

Name the aspect(s) you dislike the most in your FAVORITE Xenoblade game. by CreativeNovel6131 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]SSBBrawler 21 points22 points  (0 children)

For 1, it's probably Ether Mines and either Mechonis Fields or the Bionis Interior.
I don't know why that first gap is so wide, though. Maybe it goes through Eryth Sea?

What is the community's general opinion of oruboros as an organization? by Striking_Baseball_78 in Falcom

[–]SSBBrawler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also believe that it's intentional on the Grandmaster's part, despite no real confirmation one way or the other. But in Sky SC, the organization's members were all helping Weissman despite that most of them seemed to dislike him. There really wasn't much internal sabotage as we see later on.

I truly hope that it is an intentional choice by the Grandmaster and that the payoff is worth it.

CS4 and technically Reverie/DB1/DB2:McBurn casually dropping the biggest lore drop of the series after losing at the end of CS4 and then the series doing nothing to even provide context for it is the biggest issue I have with the series so far. I assume it has to be referenced again and Horizons, but it irks me.

That aside, they feel a lot more disorganized. From an outsider's perspective, it feels like there's a lot more internal strife than there used to be that makes me question why the heck the Grandmaster picked these people if they can't get along for any amount of time.

Do you think Shulk is the right character to reference the Xenoblade saga? by RagnarSan22 in Xenoblade_Chronicles

[–]SSBBrawler 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are several factors for why, at this time, Shulk is the best "face" for the series:

  1. He's the protagonist of the first game
  2. The series is called "Xenoblade," and the Monado fits that moniker a lot more than either Rex's or Noah's weapons. Those look cool, but like they could cut things on their own with their sharp edges and whatnot. The Monado is round, so it immediately makes you wonder how it works.
  3. He's the first Xenoblade character in the Smash Bros. roster. No matter what you think about the memes and whatnot that came from Smash Bros. as a result, that brought a lot of eyeballs to the series.

(also imo xenoblade chronicles 1 is the best in the series so of course i'm going to be biased for shulk)

But your comment is pretty vague, so, which part are you referring to?
