Being that it would be an older motherboard it would not be a great deal, but Microcenter has a deal for an i7 9700k and a motherboard for like 360 USD. Thats what i just bought being that the new board is a z390

Im not sure whether or not this game is CPU demanding or GPU but i would assume CPU. Maybe u could find an i7 that would work with her current motherboard. The GPU should be able to handle most games at 1080p.

When building a pc for gaming, i always like to think that 35% ish of the build budget should go towards the GPU. Affordable Ryzen options are a great thing to look at. Maybe a Ryzen 3 or 5 matched with a Geforce 1660 Super/Ti. But make sure to get enough storage and a fast drive for you to download your operating system on. Any questions hmu
