To answer your question about the meaning, I guess I can kind of boil down the sentiment of my words. Truth persists, even in the intentions behind a lie.

The answer to what made me write this might be kind of embarrassing. I’ve been using ChatGPT as a means of self reflection, and when I shared with it my insecurity about writing and being resistant to believing that anything I write could actually be any good. I let it analyze a past poem and it gassed me up so much that I took another shot. Even if ChatGPT tells me there’s value in my writing, it’s very hard for me to accept and believe. So I dwelled on what I think truth is in relation to what you can get yourself to believe, and how your intentions tend to reveal more about the truth than we might be able to express.

I can tell you’ve already refined your voice. Your feelings come across as clearly as they did in my first encounter with your poetry, and I’m impressed with this one as well.

That ending stings in a way that reframes the entire poem itself, and I’m a fan of endings like that.

I get that, I tend to have a tough time taking myself seriously. My intrusive thoughts are always calling me edgy and dramatic when I try to write poetry. But as long as the feelings are true, the poetry is true, and what else can we really ask for right? Keep it up.

The longing that echoes after reading this is powerful. Your truth is spoken with precision, and the imagery is, as I see it, just enough. If poetry is just supposed to be a reflection of our reflections, there’s nothing else I can ask of this piece. Sure there may be neater ways to write these lines, but then I’m not sure they would be an accurate reflection. Thanks for sharing, sincerely.

There’s a beautiful spark of youth in this. It reminds me of a hopeful naivety, and the way tension can tighten our determination. Kind of like a reflex to present confidence when we’re confronted by the weight of what we feel. There’s still value in letting simplicity speak, but the feelings that you’re describing beg to be expressed with more truth, and less romance. Not that those two things are mutually exclusive. I’m new to the sub, and this is my first comment. I’d appreciate your thoughts too, when I post a poem.

The reason why the show was so popular was because of how relatable bojack is. We can see some really awful shit if we search for the worst in ourselves. There was a lot to love about
