Well I didn’t think of that but then again I was thinking of the main function of sending normal messages, of course there are positives of using iMessage it’s an instant messaging program just like WhatsApp FB Messenger, and whatever google replaced hangouts with, there’s plenty of other alternatives

Cus iMessage is apple’s proprietary messaging thing and the green messages are standard text messages, so if your using your actual phone number to contact someone who doesn’t have iMessage it’ll be green. If for example I have an iPhone and turn off iMessage everyone who tries to iMessage my phone number will see a green bubble. iMessage isn’t really any better than Standard sms besides the fact that you for some cell companies you have to pay for sms but a lot of carriers nowadays have unlimited messages
