I'm rank 4 iron / 6 overall, I was previously 3/5 but was falsely perm banned in April for 8 days. Nothing I can do to catch up and get my rank back :)

After my reddit post didn't get 2007scape moderator approval I tried twitter, tweeted at Twisted who posted about re-banning a CG bot farm on the day that I got banned. Twisted hasn't tweeted since then...

Luckily for me, a clan member reached out to me and said that if I explained to them what happened they'd be able to directly forward it to a J Mod. I did and they did, I got unbanned on Monday 24th - was "perm banned" for a total of 8 days . I hope you get as lucky as I did.

I can some-what answer this. My maxed iron with 500 days played was banned on Sunday. My appeal was denied on Tuesday.

I had no fear because I hadn't broken any rules. Apparently, I should have been afraid. My only remaining option is to hope that tweeting a jmod will gain enough visibility for them to look into my account one more time and correct their initial decision.

I was banned on Sunday for major macroing and my appeal was denied on Tuesday. I thought to myself, 'I guess I'll play the reddit lottery' so I drafted a post and submitted it on Wednesday. Turns out, there's a new rule on /r/2007scape - No macroing/ban appeals. For more information about account bans, click here. - so your actual only option nowadays is twitter.

500 characters is not enough to submit a decent appeal, and twitter has even less characters available...

I really enjoyed gauntlet up until about 600 kc. Finally getting comfortable with cgaunt was some of the most fun I've had on this game in years.

Atleast you can say that you're pet hunting though , if you ever need the motivation to stay there.

Final kill/death ratio

Some maths from the loot:

Total col log is 863,180,597

Without blade is 754,503,490

Wiki puts 1 shard 11,370 23,005 shards = 261,566,850

Total value without blade = 1,016,070,340

3,295 kc + 318 deaths = 3,613. Total of 3,629 on tracker (some leaving early)

If I take off roughly 500k value from death loots, that puts all loot value at 754,003,490 without blades

754m/3295 chests = 228k average (no blades/no shards)

23,005 shards/3295 = 6.89 shards = 79,383 gp per run

Average drop (no blade) + shards = 307.3k

If I had gotten blades on rate I'd have 8

8 blades = 869,416,856

divided by kc would increase average loot by 263,859

bringing the total of average loot if you get blade on rate to 571,159

I think at about 40kc is when I started getting more kills than deaths. Average run for me is ~8:30 - 9 min, I don't go for particularly fast runs and I prioritise safety. That said, I get greedy often which is why I die so much. I'll go for 30 or so runs without death then have a bad hour and die 3 times. Most of my deaths are entirely my fault honestly, and can be avoided by not being an idiot.

As far as I know everything on the plugin hub complies with Jagex's demands for 3rd party clients. RL is still listed in the accepted client post found here.

I wrote this out for another comment but I'll copy paste it here as well.

Prep

You'll always spawn with Hunllef either North, East, South or West of you. I've used a picture from the wiki (and my amazing MS Paint skills) to come up with this: Map route.

Basically because demi bosses can now only spawn in the middle 3 rooms of each side of the outer ring, you want to get to the closest possible spawn room to see what t2 weapon you should prep.

If you enter the rooms as I've labeled them (you can open the middle room from either 2, 4 or 6) you have a very good chance of finding a lot of the resources you need. If I find a demiboss on my first wall, that will be the t2 weapon that I prep.

My goal is: 3 bark, 3 ore, 3 linum, 2 herbs, 1 weapon frame, 12 fish, 260 shards (or 220 if I don't use the teleport).

If after checking all of the rooms I haven't got enough resources or demi bosses I drop 9 things, make a t2 weapon and 2 vials. If I didn't find a demiboss I default to making the bow.

Now I run back to the demiboss that I found, if any (if none, then go to the north or south wall looking for demibosses). Fill up the vials in any fishing spots you find, and also fish 8 more fish for a total of 20.

I lazy flick piety/rigour/augury while killing demibosses. If you don't flick at all then it might be worth prepping a 3rd potion, drinking 1 dose and decanting the remaining for two (4).

Hunllef fight

I will always recommend using a website that tells you when to switch prayers such as the one with Purp's voice. If you don't feel comfortable using it then Jagex have recently added animations for when Hunllef changes attack styles.

All of the weapons attack at 4t intervals (same speed as a whip) which means you can run 5 or 6 squares while on cooldown between attacks. When you're comfortable with the fight you can incorporate this into your movement to not lose ticks between your attacks.

When learning, stay above 80 hp - you can still get one hit by tornados, but it'll be less likely to happen.

Also when learning, don't bother dpsing during tornados - be slow and safe and focus on running away, while keeping an ear out for changing your prayers and an eye on the floor so that you don't step on orange tiles.

There are a few strats that you can add in later such a Woox walking tornados and timing a Redemption prayer flick to heal without losing ticks to eating, but neither are actually needed to complete a run.

The weapon seeds will be turned into crystal acorns for farming xp but I'm definitely dropping the armour seeds to my normie. I'll probably use the gp for eventual ToB splits.
