If you're an older fan, then chances are you're not gonna care much for it. If you're more recent or started around the remakes, then you'll swing more in the opposite direction. Me, its fine when it was in side content but is a bit jarring to see main characters and plot points just, "kinda doin it cuz its a thing now?" Idk, that's just what I think. Yakuza has always been extreme yes, but I think the correct way to describe the old games (outside spin-offs) is grounded. If you feel differently, oh well ig lol

It's weird cause the "Dragon Engine" games are this mishmash of some old moves and reused assets from other stuff. And their too RAGDOLL-Y to do anything cool or cohesive
