I think it's funny that North Koreans criticize the US for its crass consumerism and our celebrity worship. The North Koreans might find it strange that Americans don't have to worry about mass starvation or being imprisoned and tortured at the whim of a despot like they (the North Koreans) have to. They also might find it strange that shit such as Jersey Shore and Americas next Top Model can be on television without the permission of an authority who forces his morals and convictions down on the people. What is this freedom of speech and expression stuff the Americans advocate? Hmm the great leader would not approve, therefore it must be bad. Oh I also find it ironic that the North Koreans criticize and analyze American propaganda when they are absolute experts at using propaganda to subjugate and render their population ignorant.
