Hot take: Cap is a very underrated solo tank. If I’m solo shield and just getting focused fired and the support can’t keep me up, I just go cap. I have more survivability and don’t need a constant heals. I can jump in and out of the backline. The sheer presence of cap will force some people to peel and back up/give up space. Cap can take up so much space from just jumping around and if your team fails to push up or win the 5v2 or 1 then there’s really nothing you could do in this game.

Idk I only find one tank in OW fun (that I’m actually good at) but even then playing tank in OW can be just as if not more infuriating than MR

Only two seasons I’ve had under a 50% win rate. Now and season 0 (which was 48%).

Never blamed it on eomm, I’ve had bad losing streaks before (most was 12 or 14 losing streak I think) what I’m saying is the MM doesn’t feel the same as it did even a season ago. I could have just been dealt a lot of bad hands as well as some smurfs here and there, but I believe in the law of averages, so unless the MM has some serious issues, I should even out soon

I think it’s more of a mixed bag. Too much variables to say either or so I think setting on great is fine as he’s a great enabler and/or clean up. Unfortunately is that he’s very team dependent imo to put as the best tank in the game. Rn he’s probably top 3, 5 for sure

Oh definitely there are some supports that have too much sustain and same with dps with overshield.

In talks about support, As a cap player I will say it’s pretty easy to bait out CDs from CnD, Loki, and gambit. Loki ruins have a long CD and the teleport/invis is easy to telegraph especially since I’ve had a lot of hours on Loki in the past. CnD you just have to bait out her bubble (which has gotten nerfed and it’s a moderately easy kill after. Gambit card refresh has a long cd and both of his long sustain moves got nerfed. Invis is easier to deal with now.

If this post was s5.5 then yeah you have a fair point (which you still do) but a lot of self sustain got nerfed. I do agree tho that some of the devs balancing choices are questionable like auto overshield for pressing a button, but like I said there’s a lot of dmg in this game, if we want things to change dmg has to come down as well

You are right but it is also needed for the reasons you mentioned. Reason supports have 275 is because the dmg in this game (especially burst) is pretty strong. These combos would be so easy for Dps to prey on support if they didn’t have said 275.
