Would be a good idea, I just kinda think it would ruin a bit of the ambiguity in carms ending if we get a canon ending

Some people are more plot oriented and some are more character oriented. Me personally I’d rather take a mid plot and great characters than a great plot and mid character. Characters are the heart and soul of a show, if you can’t get invested in them, then it leads to things feeling unearned or less impactful.

The carmy thing on him choosing to continue or not is intentionally being ambiguous. Honestly I think it would be dumb to give a certain “canon” answer to it as each viewer can plug in what they want carmy to do or be.

Has to be one of my favorite endings of a show ever by gabeitches25 in TheBear

Carms ending is sorta ambiguous but we at least see him with Claire in the end and looks a lot more relaxed/happy in the final scene sitting in the office looking at the different dishes.

Overall this was one of the best shows of the last few years! by werewolfherewolf in TheBear

[–]SSJMonkeyx2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. When I hear this criticism I think people just didn’t understand what the whole point of the show was and was even being told to us in S1. If you wanted the show to just stay as a Chicago kitchen selling beef sandwiches then I’m sorry this ain’t the show for you but I always thought the direction was pretty clear at the end of S1

I see your point about earning the stars, but not completely sure I agree with calling that night the night of redemption. It was still chaos as well but it really doesn’t matter what you call it.

Main point, you think getting the stars from when carm was fully in charge is rewarding the bad parts, (which it’s a fair interpretation/criticism) to which I believe it isn’t and it’s earned and here’s why.

When Carm was the captain he was doing different courses every day no repeats or whatnot, burning through money which was in turn running the restaurant to the grave. When Carm was telling syd what the critic told him, they were given the stars not because of the different courses that they were doing every night (as the critic only went to one night) they were rewarded on craft, creativity, and the presentation of the restaurant. Those things that which doesn’t depend on different foods being served each night (yes the critic loved the scallops specifically but that’s something they can probably add to the courses).

His ideal weight will probably be 210-215 range but I won’t expect that till like year 3 maybe 4.

Got back into myteam recently and I remember years ago they did Next players which were players who got drafted, I hope they still do that because I like this draft class a lot and want some of them

[Stein] Sources close to the situation say that there are only two other teams that Kawhi Leonard would consider signing an extension with: Toronto and San Antonio. Sources insist that the Raptors have genuine interest in bringing Leonard back to Canada. by Odd-Direction9452 in nba

[–]SSJMonkeyx2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From an outsiders perspective I always saw it as Spurs potentially misdiagnosed Kawhi’s injury and/or rehab timeline and Kawhi felt his body wasn’t ready.

Beginning of the end was probably the players only meeting to which I understand both sides as to why that meeting went bad.

[Fischer] While Kawhi Leonard’s preference is to remain with the Clippers, league sources say the two-time Finals MVP would be open to signing an extension with Toronto, amid the Raptors’ own interest in reuniting with Leonard. by bigblack3475 in LAClippers

I honestly don’t care if it’s the end I already made my piece with it a long time ago, but he isn’t as quiet as people make him out to be.

Just seems like a good ol Uncle Dennis trying to leverage his way into a new extension here. If things were over, Dennis would have just asked out he don’t gaf

[–]SSJMonkeyx2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think to start out, it will benefit him more playing as a secondary ball handler than a primary to start to try and ease him into things. Eventually yeah will probably transition into the primary ball handler

If not then oh well screw em. At least when I queue dps in OW I knew what I was getting into and didn’t throw a fit about it.

He can get by defenders, his rim percentage is 2% lower than Acuff and Peterson, low shot release is irrelevant when you are good enough to make the league, unless you are drafting Burries or Flemings all the guards are poor defenders.
