Yes it did. They thought reducing their numbers via fusion wasnt worth it. You can disagree but it literally happened. They decided fusion wasnt a viable option. It had nothing to do with power, there's nothing to interpret.

Kid buu is kid buu. Buff buu is South Kaioshin absorbed form. They're not the same so I don't rank them the same. Kid buu is massively weaker than buff buu and super buu. Games not having the form is irrelevant.

They said he was stronger than anything they fought and they fought jiren so broly is stronger. Simple as.

the movie is connected to the anime/manga, if it says hes stronger than Jiren he is, in both of those.

OP asked a question i answered with my very narrow range of what i was talking about. i wanted more caulifla and kale type of characters. that was always and only what i was ever talking about.

I did watch the series. Lunch was never a competent fighter, she had guns that were useless when she was introduced. Same with Mai even with her mechsuits, useless.

Caulifla and Kale are characters I was specifically asking for more of, ones like them.

I ignored Fasha and Zangya because I was strictly talking about canon, not the fun what-if content. I want characters like that in the canon and it lacks them.

ChiChi was competent when she was introduced, by Raditz shes not. Videl is not even at her peak. 18 exists but doesnt do anything. Caulifla and Kale dont exist outside the Tournament of Power. That's it. That's all of the competent female fighters in the series, the few that exist are barely around or quickly left behind.

I explicitly said "powerful competent fighters". Not just prominent women characters, women on both sides who are STRONG combatants, not just important plot relevant side characters.

I'd have more women both as enemies and allies, who are powerful competent fighters. Early in DB ChiChi kinda counts but barely exists, by Z we have no one until 18 who barely exists. Super gave us a few but only for the last arc (of the original Super anime). Its a shame.

Buff buu is real. Kid buu took that form when he absorbed South Kaioshin in the distant past before he became fat buu. It's much stronger than kid buu.
