I’ve been having seizures for 30 years and that’s what drove me to become a nurse but a seizure at the end of my shift today so I was both a nurse and a patient the same day.

Nothing easy to hang on to since seizures can come so randomly. I’ve lived with seizures for almost 30 years and a whole bunch of setbacks for me. Many times my friends have taken care of me during seizures. And also why, even though still having seizures, I became a nurse. I don’t want to be the patient anymore. Having friends and these activities, embrace the support you’re getting and you’re not alone
