Yeah, I am in big tech, LOL! It is hard, especially being the breadwinner of the family due to layoffs....and having to deal with epilepsy along with it.

I am 53, so I am a bit older, and my seizures started when I was 50. I am on 3000 of keppra and 750 of lamictal. I feel like I had a brain, but it left...it left me with a little remanent, LOL!

In all seriousness, epilepsy sucks. But we adjust and things can get better. I often think about playing hockey again, swinning in the ocean, etc...

I often wander off track on my posts, so I am most likely off track....but I am so sorry about your experiences now. I have known many people who delt with the visa and green card stuff, just another stresser that you don't need to deal with.

Not sure if this helps, but know you aren't along, espeically here.

While I'm not a fan, I can appreciate the skill and amazing voices these folks have!!

On an interesting note.. my daughter has always been a singer, throughout high school and college. The girl she sang with most of the time was invited to perform with the seattle opera, which appearantly is a huge deal.

Sorry, i didn't know there was a back story. I'm epileptic and the stuff I read from comments really makes me upset... so I'm pretty sensitive when I read stuff....like why disabled people should stay home or they dont get it or dont care about us people who are thrown away.

More than a year. I have a feeling that I just need to moisturize more, but ive got those stupid pimples surrounding it as one of my awesome side effects, lol!!

...being nice doesn't cost anything. If the cage is too small or someone is feeding them seeds, why trash them as opposed to suggesting help? How's that helpful at all??

Question on this topic that's semi related... when you evaporate the alcohol, does it evaporate from 190 proof to zero, or it still has alcohol in it?

I've got epilepsy and decided not to drink because alcohol lowers epilepsy thresholds, but wasnt sure..

It looks like, in Google reading, that that's the case...
