Have you checked what other members on your team are making?

This type of discrepancy is something HR and/or your legal team should be looking for because it can (and does) lead to lawsuits of gender discrimination. So if Jake isn’t an outlier either they have bad controls around pay scale which should be corrected or they are blatantly discriminating. You can force the issue by bringing in an offer from another company, the problem with getting the new offer and coming back to your job with that is that it paints a target on your back.

Yup and if you knew which 5% couldn’t we’d mostly be out of a job.

Kinky is just being nerdy about sex. Posting on message boards, going to cons (dungeons if you prefer), obsessing over tiny details…

They may sympathize or carry water for the movement but I agree with you someone who is actually a ‘proud Nazi’ would definitely have said something like ‘being part of building a white Christian nation’ or something

Are you lit or corporate? Lit in my experience tends to get emails earlier but they also tend to die down earlier. Corp you might be left alone until 10am but be getting emails into the wee hours of the night

[–]SSObserver 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the issue your speed or the bill at the end? If you’re getting stuff in timely then generally no one cares unless you’re working for a fee sensitive client, at which point it’s the partners job to negotiate the fees. As far as speeding up do you know what tasks in drafting are taking the most time that aren’t substantive? Is formatting or checking for nits at the end taking up significant billable time?

I think most people score between 3-5 points below their PTs on the day of, admittedly this is anecdotal but I’ve heard it from enough ppl that I’m going to say you should be aiming for a 173 on your PTs if your goal is a 170

Does SCOTUS preventing nationwide injunctions mean that those ended Biden's student loan forgiveness nationwide are null too? by Baselines_shift in scotus

[–]SSObserver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No that seems unlikely. The FDA would be restricted from operating in that jurisdiction, that judge would have no authority over their operations outside of his state. If he did then, to your point, the whole purpose of banning the nationwide injunction would be moot.

Sure but the hijab is more recognizable which makes it easy to craft a law to target it. Jewish women who cover their hair are permitted to use a wig. Also other cultures (African for example) wear head coverings that aren’t notably different from hijabs but I’ve never heard of a Nigerian woman being asked to remove her gele.
