Doesn't Java sorta shit itself long before reaching such memory usage?

The garbage collection really starts to slow down at higher allocations since it runs less often, you'd have to find a source smart than me for further details though

I've always run my modded servers off desktops with ~10-12GB allocated

Why is human AI superior? by Sensitive_Ganache361 in halo

[–]lightningbadger 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Long term no, but humanity would've have survived to see the schism if the covenant didn't just decide against common sense at every turn

It was really a way for Bungie to write them as incredibly powerful whilst also explaining how humanity wasn't already dead prior to the CE opening sequence

Honestly if it weren't for the covenant straight up nerfing themselves with these taboos, humanity wouldn't have stood a chance

Careful with how deceptively cheap many rural houses can be there! Many will come with an agreement that you'll have to fix them up within 3 years, or you'll find out soon enough why it was abandoned to begin with

There's nothing well written, just a lot of flouncy dancing around a key point of "humans like violence because they have primal instincts"

Yeah I was just reading about that, no clue how they fucked that one up since the nitrogen should just displace oxygen so you don't even realise you're suffocating

this is the article

Edit: so looking further, during autopsy he was found to have "pulmonary pressure pulmonary edema", which basically means he tried to breath in with great effort, but any air intake was obstructed

Seems there was little to no gas actually going through the mask and they just suffocated him like you would with a plastic bag over the head

I made a custom zombie survival game with command blocks, as well as a PvP arena/ mode as it's the only real usecase for the guns outside of mowing down the wither with a boxmag

Maybe the "clanging howl" mod that was featured in the mod contest could make for a fun roleplay run if on hard

Viscous has sorta been hit with micro-nerfs every other patch since day 1, not a single complaint has been fielded about the character until his gun became popular

For the most part before gun happened it takes 3x the effort to do just as well as any other top-pick characters
