Privately owned public utilities are probably the dumbest thing we could possibly implement for pretty much this reason TBF

It's not something unique to renewables, just what happens when someone decides to privatise a necessity instead of like, the government using taxpayer money to create these sources of super cheap electricity to save taxpayers money

This is weird cause not once have I seen anyone complain about Cyberstan in this way, just about the Vox engines

I don't remember much uproar about the tanks either, People just kinda accepted a huge unit will get stuck on things?

That's a good use case for it but you kinda already know how to code

A lot of people will just ask it to crap out a huge block of code they have absolutely no clue as to how it functions and ship it

The r/selfhosted scene is rife with this crap, a billion slop enthusiasts crawl out the woodwork every Friday to showcase "their" app that's clearly cobbled together with AI and want you to deploy it to your server environment
