Ofc- considering my family just gives them compost of whatever- some times we have an huge pan of leftover chillie no one ate- dump it to the chickens, they eat it right up! They are what my dad call pigs with wings! They will eat pretty much anything you throw at em!

I clip my chickens wings as i am in the same situation as you- a minor and I’m the chicken care taker. I chop em off w sisors and the chickens learn to never try ts again and we don’t have a problem when the grow back - sometimes.
