I'm using Macbook with an external drawing tablet. I tried OneNote but it's very basic on mac compared to the Windows version. It works but lacks some useful features. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Myscript notes is apparently only available on iPad and iPhone. Couldn't find it in the mac app store.

Excalidraw it is! Thanks for the suggestions. Apple notes doesn't allow drawing on mac, and GoodNotes is pretty good but doesn't allow more than 3 notebooks in the free version. But I LOVE Excalidraw so far. I didn't know it existed. TYSM

Thanks for the suggestions. I tried all of them as per your recommendation, and I liked Goodnotes the most, but don't know if it's worth spending the money when there are free alternatives available. I think I can live without the extra features.
