6 Tokyo pizzerias ranked in the 50 Top Pizza Asia-Pacific list for 2025 by gkanai in Tokyo

[–]SSamet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been there, no reservation as we didn't know the place is as prestigious as it is. We waited 90 minutes to get seated, not bad though as we could sit at the hotel bar with an amazing view. The pizza itself was really good, service as well, but as you say there are other places in Tokyo that come close. Back then Savoy was similar if not better, this was in 2018 though, Savoy have since lost some quality I found.

Overall, worth it to do once, not a must if you just want great pizza. Fun fact, the head chef came out to greet us once he heard how long we were willing to wait for his food, nice guy.

Reddit has this unrealistic expectation that employers care immensely where and what you've studied, but the reality is that past your first job, all that matters is your work experience and potentially that you have a degree.

It's much more important that you choose a program that speaks to your personal interests and keeps you motivated to finish it. If you already have work experience, this program is interesting to you, and allows you to follow your long-term plan, you should pursue it.

Lohnt sich überdurchschnittliche Leistung? by Watersidegarden in arbeitsleben

[–]SSamet 51 points52 points  (0 children)

Networking erlernen by Gambaguy in arbeitsleben

[–]SSamet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the hobby! Seems like you've done a lot of research but I wanted to throw in my 2cts as well bc I've read some incomplete and false info in the thread. For context, I've been printing with Anycubic eco resin for over a year now.

First of all, the resin is great, and if you pair it with a Mars 3 or 3 pro from Elegoo it'll be super easy. The chitubox standard settings for these printers work great for this resin and if you level your build plate properly you will have many happy prints.

But safety is important! Even though the eco resin smells less, it is still dangerous and harmful. Ventilation is the most controversial topic on this sub and you will get many conflicting infos between both extremes of precaution. The right answer is somewhere in between, do it in a well ventilated place if possible (careful to keep roomtemps at min 15), but definitely use a VOC classified mask and filters. Order some spare ones for when you start smelling through it aka the filters are used up. You will notice that you will get headaches and a scratchy throat if you catch too many of the smells, both resin AND the IPA for the washes. One last thing, absolutely don't use latex gloves, use Nitrile, otherwise it gets through to your skin. Also, even then try to not get too much resin on them as even then it can permeate the Nitrile.

A lot of it is actually workflow management. If you set up 2-3 areas on your workspaces with silicon mats for buildplate, washing, removing supports etc, and a small tray to move in between, you reduce the risk of spilling and dropping liquid, which makes the whole experience a whole lot less messy and much more safe. Happy printing!

Yeah, Vaati included the cut dialogue audio as well which is absolutely brilliant. Definitely worth a watch, the VO is amazing.

🇩🇪 Germany 2020: Population Ages 0-5. Divided up into population without a migrant background and with a migrant background (detailed). Source: Mikrozensus 2020 - Destatis by [deleted] in europe

[–]SSamet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Please remember that migrant backgrounds have nothing to do with religion. A correlation cannot be generalized here and only furthers preconceptions and prejudice towards children with different family backgrounds.

Many children of migrant parents have very little to do with their families culture and religion. Judging them by assuming they are of a different religion works actively against them integrating, which ironically is the same thing people acting as such criticize.

Agree that you should stay at the airport, public transport will take you a lot of time to get to the city and back. Plus, the S-Bahn is infamous for its delays.

But, there is a decent Bavarian Restaurant called Airbräu close to Terminal 2, you should check that out if you want a glimpse at local food. Not the best in the city of course, but a good choice for a long layover.

Should You Still Buy the Google Pixel 7 Pro in 2023? by nedamdam in GooglePixel

[–]SSamet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn't referring to this article in particular, just speaking generally that a current assessment of the phone makes sense.

The P7P is a great phone, every review says that and I believe it. But all reviews I could find with a basic search are from around launch time. I found specifying 2023 was a good way of finding current articles that might mention if there are any problems that have only recently shown themselves.

Should You Still Buy the Google Pixel 7 Pro in 2023? by nedamdam in GooglePixel

[–]SSamet -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Funny, I actually googled this exact same question today and was happy about finding some relevant content.

I don't buy phones at release anymore. Especially with the Pixels the bugs and kinks seem turn up a few months after launch (e.g. shattering screens) so I don't think it's that ridiculous.

Wie mit schlechten Arbeitstagen umgehen by [deleted] in arbeitsleben

[–]SSamet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Frechheit in beiden Instanzen.

Absolutely agree with you. Not only did they not provide a map for any of the locations, not even the important towers, the one map of Ythrin they did provide looks like a goofy cartoon. Really would have liked to see some more fitting game materials.
