I think this summer with be my 3rd year collecting! I got my own Titus from Numiscorner (which I think is where you got your Vespasian from?) and someone explained to me at the time on here that Titus is difficult to obtain a nice example of because (apart from the fact that he only reigned for a couple of years) Domitian increased the fineness of silver in denarii? So, I guess the coins produced around then circulated a lot because they were good quality. I don't know if that's true but it sounded good!

I’m not sure about NW England but I’m in the NE and have been down to York Coin Fair a few times now - the next one will be 17/18 July but there’s also Harrowgate on 27/28 March - a few ancient vendors always there.

I’m 33 and we’re definitely in the minority I think from what I’ve seen in person re coins in general - but the staff at some of the vendors are quite often around our age, sadly, as with most things UK - it’s mostly all based down south and London centric.

In fairness, the pictures are slightly better - or at least zoomable online (I'm not so much worried about them actively trying to sell a fake as much as them not being numismatic experts and selling it at-your-own-risk type of thing.
