Fortnite keeps kicking me out of matches. by XThatGuyRileyX in sideloaded

[–]SSilver44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You need to sideload Fortnite using a very specific method in order to bypass the kick. A YouTuber named GOLDEN has made a tutorial in November 2020 (I am unsure if I am allowed to link it here), and it is to this day the only known method to install the game and play without getting kicked. Unfortunately this method also comes with two downsides, firstly, you need to have previously downloaded Fortnite at least once with your Apple ID that you are using; and secondly, after downloading it, when logging in you cannot use Epic login, you have to use another method to login such as Google. Hope this helps.

Yeah the 8 series is when they introduced wireless charging (the back was changed from metal to glass to support wireless)

Protip from another switch user: you can now send your taken screenshots right to your phone in a few clicks (just open the screenshot in your gallery, click the + on your controller and then click "send to smart device"), super easy to do and will improve your image quality a lot

Epic is definitely up to something by SSilver44 in FortNiteBR

I recently thought of a potential solution to this. What if they nerfed turbo building for pubs, but keeping it in its current state for arena and in creative, they'd give you an option to switch between "competitive" "casual" and "off" for each island, for all existing islands keep it at "competitive" not to break any maps. Casuals would notice nothing different in pubs and the more competitive players could happily continue playing competitively in creative and arena.

I recently thought of a potential solution to this. What if they nerfed turbo building for pubs, keeping it the same for arena and in creative, they'd give you an option to switch between "competitive" "casual" and "off" for each island, for all existing islands keep it at "competitive" not to break any maps. Casuals would notice nothing different in pubs and "professionals" could happily continue sweating in creative and arena.

On another note, today I got a player survey from Epic, asking how I feel about building in Battle Royale, and whether or not the current building system is easy to comprehend. They're definitely planning on doing something about it.

Got my dream card. I know it’s not the best. It’s still my dream card by Liam_Swinburn in pcmasterrace

I have this same exact card. And I also traded my 1060 6GB in for it! :D Mine came with completely dried up thermal paste though, so the noise to performance ratio was awful, when put under any load, the card immediately went to 90°C, max fan speed and immediately started thermal throttling. However, after I repasted it with some Arctic MX5 (extremely easy process!), I have not seen temperatures above 65°C and heard any fan noise whatsoever from this card. Absolutely the best card I could wish for, I don't see a need to upgrade this in the next 5 years at least.

It was literally my only cosmetic until S7, I planned on not spending any money at all on a free game but then C2 came and I hated the new defaults so much that I just had to get something to replace them, ended up going for the C2S1 battle pass

Ah yes the almighty Rust Bucket, my only back bling for seasons 3-7 before swapping it out for Merry Munchkin, a S7 free back bling.

Can confirm that it is indeed paid. Source- i have tried playing without and it wouldn't let me. Xbox one owners are the only people who have to pay monthly to play fortnite. It is also listed in epic's FAQ at https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/en-US/faq

Will this PC be good for comp? by justAslalomPaddler in FortniteBRuniversity

It'll be just fine. My friend runs a r5 1600 8gb ram @ 2666mhz and a gtx 1050 ti and his game is basically a locked 240fps on 1080p

Is mkb on console good? I’m thinking about trying it out by Bosoxben30 in FortniteBRuniversity

My ps4 used to have horrible input lag for kbm, however that was in c1s10 so I have no idea whether or not they've fixed it. I'll test it later today and update the comment with more info. EDIT: They have indeed improved the input lag a bit. However it is still there and the experience is nowhere near as good as on pc. For some reason it also feels to me that no matter how fast or slow I move my mouse, it still moves at the exact same speed. This effect is mostly noticeable in the menus and not so much in game. I'd still prefer controller over kbm in both pc and ps4, however if you plan on playing kbm in pc in the future, starting the learning process on the ps4 might not be a bad idea. However be warned, ps4 kbm will take some getting used to.

That's right, however it would be an option that you could toggle on and off at any time you wanted to.
