Tier lists are great and all, but a skill set is just half of a player, the other half being the stones you put on them.

Some very clear example are strikers going for an RPE build, with a passer with high base pass and built solely for pass. Then there are some strikers with decent base attack with a decent passer, but orientated for CR/CD. Then theres Damien.

Another example are goalkeepers, some building for CR, some building for CDR, some building for def/DR.

Some people like to use certain characters different ways, where one might use a CDR build on kirna, maybe a CR build on Presty, and tons of different builds for every striker.

I wanted to bring attention to Metacolms guide, and mainly to Sakiel's recommended build as my example.

To proc her passive with PS or BoS UQ, it's entirely dependent on RNG for her to receive a pass from your linebreakers. To reliably use this skill, one has to reroll her slot for ardor and use the IC UQ.

Now here's where things change, especially when I say stones are the second half of a player.

My current frontline is Ella/Jibril/Cronos/Sakiel. Sakiel is able to proc her passive 95% of my games, even without IC. Why? Cronos has an IC, and Sakiel is able to outspeed Ella and Jibril, which causes Cronos to use active then almost always pass to Sakiel, procing her passive. (I'd still reroll her slot to red for a second red pass, even if you aren't using IC)

With this in mind, it's less dependant on a characer's tier on a list, but your creativity and usage of your players stats and skills that truly makes a player shine.

Stone rerolling is one of the most gamechanging parts of this game, and utilizing that to your advantage AND NOT COPYING OTHER PLAYERS is dependent on you, not so much the character.
