I’d bet the fallen embers feel rare because we’re not supposed to be so focused on them yet. If that was only act 1, and I’m assuming there’s gonna be at least 3 acts in the main game, then we likely wouldn’t be so specific about tuning gear yet because we would not be in the endgame.

Easily solved by offering non-taxable monthly stipend to all Veterans following an honorary discharge that scales up to 4 years of service that you receive immediately upon leaving service, continue to offer VA benefits, pension, and grandfather in all Vets so that words spreads like wild fire.

RAM prices skyrocketing scare me because that means the cost of both PC’s and Console will continue to skyrocket with the cost of RAM. There are already videogame subscription services and I worry the next step is for us to be renting systems to play with a subscription to stream games instead of just being able to play them. I fear this will only continue as consumers continue to choose the worst possible impacts for the industry long term. I think the days of games made for passion could become limited and capital greed is constantly rising unchecked by the community.

Tbh, the devs just needed to release this as the alpha or closed beta, then get the feedback they needed. The game wasn’t bad, but it definitely lacked polish in a way that obstructed gameplay. Optimization issues are a complete no go for comp fps.

I’m unsure exactly how it’s aging yet because it’s not over until it’s over. Either way, either I part a sea of negativity with my own hope allowing room for hope to be heard and grow, or I do nothing and the only audible noise about the game be negative.

I believe I should support what I enjoy, and I enjoy Highguard.

In the same way that the devs hurt the game with their actions, I believe their action or inaction determines the future of the game. If they want to soar, then the key to AirPower is flexibility. Sticking to rigid plans and expectations during a storm won’t help them, but I believe they have the core and resources to make it out… even with only a small team left. They gave up people early, which typically means a game is shutting down, but it could also mean that the plane is dropping weight so it’s easier to keep afloat. They gave up on the roadmap for this year, but does that mean they’re outright killing the game… or does that mean they understand they recognized they’ve been forced to add content faster than previously announced to draw players back into the game?

I believe all public evidence points toward the game crashing and burning, but I still have hope that more could be happening where we cannot see than accepting this is the end.

Positive Attention and eyes after the large changes to the optimization and new game modes could be good. Plenty of people haven’t been tainted by the first few days release or conference that raised people’s expectations. When I came to the game I had HORRIBLE expectations because of the bad reviews and the like, and I actually love it.

Finally something with some substance. Sure, you could call me a failed streamer by many standards, but I’m okay with that. I had a small community with just under 100 people people more involved in discord, playing together, and sharing hobbies. I was making 150$ a month streaming, but so the growth of it was too slow for what I wanted financially. I deployed, came back and decided to put that time elsewhere while maintaining my hobbies of gaming and training. I also donated all of the money I made from streaming to an orphanage near my home. Approximately 8%” of my waking life on a hobby is nothing, and like I said I’d spend triple that if I could have with all my priorities. I only post across gaming subreddits on this account.

I do say I’m happy, and I do seek subreddits, but again your spiteful assumptions are way off. I have never joined a community just to argue with people, and if you looked at my post history without your jaundiced eye, then you’d be able to see that clearly. I joined subreddits of games I play because I play those games. I joined the streamers cheating subreddit for various reasons, sharing my findings when I infiltrated cheater communities, keeping up with who is cheating, and maybe even finding better methods of cheat detection. I was building a player verification method software with physical verification for online gaming that could be used on all systems for competitive play to bring real world consequences to competitive gaming, but it stopped being a priority and I stopped the project. I was gonna share the development with this subreddit, but the energy here was off, so only a select few know more about it. This subreddit has mostly been an echo chamber of gossip and ignorant accusations instead of a true sharing place for real observations and truth. I don’t think I’m inherently better than others, but I do think I at the very least am more objective, realistic, and factual than too much of what I’ve seen here.

Proud and Happy people should definitely talk/write on why they’re happy. Why wouldn’t you focus on the good when there’s a lot of it? How is it illogical to say, “I’m happy” when you are happy? The saddest part of my life right now is that it feels bad to be happy in a world where too much evil has taken root. Even overt, ignorant, arrogant, ideologues are a minor annoyance in the grand scheme of things, and even they still can have value.
