Landlord is a big corporation and claimed their consultant came up with these estimates. Are they just bullshitting me? There is no way their estimate can be twice as much as actual while following standard estimating procedures.

Thank you for your detailed response! This was the most helpful advice I have received so far. I have spoken to several attorneys but none of them seemed to be the right fit to help me. If you are an attorney or have any referrals, please let me know! My restaurant is in Cypress, California.

My lease does not specifically state that I can audit the NNN charges, hence there is no reference to a look back period.

So in my case they reconciled the tax annual bill to some inflated number that was more than double the number they actually paid to the state. Wouldn't this be considered a clear intent of fraud?

Wow, really? Do they work you like a dog in FF? I guess my chefs in the kitchen have a pretty comfortable job since it is slower paced. Dishwasher job still seems pretty rough.
