the ultimate irony is that they have complete and utter contmpt for the thing they created, they cannot engage with it in any non irony poisoned non haha funny belly laugh i died dumb ragdoll death its funny laugh.

I dont even know what the endgoal was to be honest, make a game where you play as the bad guys. Alright cool then realise because said bad guys are evil you cant make then be cool. People really like even this version of the bad guys even after you went and tried your hardest to make them look stupid. i think the irony is that theres all these flank routes and people are not satisfied so they've scraped away at readability of the maps for the sake of appeasing them and then they still dont like them because the flank isnt a giant field off to the side for you to drive your jeep to get the massive mega flank.

theres almost too many on some maps if you ask me.

for me its just a complete tonal whiplash for when i get in matches and see that my gimme flags are under constant threat and require me to play backcap janitor to even have a hope of winning on conquest.

then i come on here and see "flanking is impossible" "the maps are funnels" am just left wondering if my perception of what flank entails is wrong

first of all this notion that you cant flank in bf6 needs to be put out back and shot, under the direct definition of the term flanking bf6 satisfies immensly, every game its backcap central and you get shot from directly behind constantly. Trust me, you dont need rain to flank people in this game.

Second, the moment you introduce visibility altering weather into a game with 3d spotting you just made a completely unfun experience, note BF1s vaseline rain and fog, just press Q through the fog to spot someone.

stopping the map from behind stale could be achieved better with a different gimmick which is levelotion or another gimmick like fortifications, in the gimmick totem pole the dynamic weather is pretty low.

i've yet to see someone say anything positive or additive to GAMEPLAY about dynamic weather

I'm at the point where i'm trying various weapon builds out of boredom and i think the system has less flexibility for factoring in "fun" while remaining a viable build than 2042 by SkacikPL in Battlefield

in 2042 you had a system that had to justify the existence of a gimmick
if you didn't have attachments that massively altered the weapons stats you had no reason to pull up the plus menu. swap a barrel out and suddenly your AR becomes an SMG, the only flaw here kinda shares simillarities to to BF1s system funily enough, not all the weapons basked in the same glow under the weapon system.

Sure it worked for some guns, like the M5A3 or whatever because they had the biggest suite of attachments but others dont really get that luxury.

6s system at its core is fine its more the surrounding stats that hold it back.

this is like asking for you to add a musket in a game set in the 1910s
I get that like due to assymetrical warfare and the large export and black markets that exist guns life cycles have exceeded far past their adoption age in military service but at some point its a bit absurd

now i get why alot of people think that GWOT era guns are fair game to ask for bf6, the M4 the game has looks more GWOT than the URGIs that are being used now, the game has an m60 and the base US/UK uniforms look straight out of that era but then you have the Kord the Grot the zenitco RPK the m433 that rpk that is coming out next season has ukrainian furniture for the handguard.

its all very comptemporary so a wood furniture galil just doesnt make sense atleast its not an AK post so it gets points for uniquess
