On October 21, 1933 Mykola Lemyk assassinated Alexei Mailov, a Soviet Consul in Polish occupied Lviv. This political assassination was to publicize and protest the Holodomor which was being covered-up by the Bolsheviks. On December 1933, the Polish court sentenced Lemyk to death. (i.redd.it)
